WANDAVISION: 5 Wild Predictions For The Season Finale's Rumored Guest Star - Possible SPOILERS

Both Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen have teased a big guest star in WandaVision, and while it's possible we already met the actor the former says he's been desperate to work with for years last week, the signs are pointing to some sort of surprise in the finale.

There are some obvious possibilities - Doctor Strange, for example - but we have some wilder suggestions for who could make an appearance.

From a resurrected hero to characters from other worlds, there are some exciting possibilities here, all of whom could prove to be a game-changer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving forward.

WandaVision has already delivered some huge surprises, and it would be foolish to think there aren't more to come. We don't know if this major cameo will take place, of course, but Marvel Studios is using this series to set the stage for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, remember!

We think you'll have some fun with this one, so click on the "Next" button below to take a look...

5. The Original Quicksilver

293829321324r132331334

At the end of last week's episode of WandaVision, we learned that Wanda (or someone...) had "recast" Pietro. Playing Wanda's long-lost brother was Evan Peters, the actor best known for starring as Quicksilver in Fox's X-Men movies. Look online, and you'll find plenty of theories about him.

Some believe it's Pietro's "spirit" in a new body, while others have argued this is just a random Westview resident forced to play Wanda's brother. The most compelling theory, however, is that he's secretly Mephisto, and is only there to manipulate the Scarlet Witch and stop her leaving this reality.

Regardless, we honestly wouldn't be surprised if Aaron Taylor-Johnson makes his surprise return as the real Quicksilver. If Wanda fully embraces her reality altering powers in the finale, then she could bring the real deal back from the dead, proving that there are no limits to her powers (and, despite what she told Billy and Tommy, the Scarlet Witch is powerful enough to break the rules).

4. Mojo

293829321324r132331334

Even assuming Mephisto isn't responsible for what's happening in Westview, it's still safe to assume that "Agnes" will be revealed as Nightmare (likely combined with Agatha Harkness).

The ruler of the Dream Dimension clearly wants to get her hands on the twins for some sort of sinister reason, but what's the deal with the sitcoms? Well, that could be explained with the introduction of Mojo. His race was driven insane by television signals from Earth, and he loves creating his own entertainment...so, what if Nightmare was forced to turn to him for help here?

She might not be powerful enough to trap Wanda in a setting where she can be easily manipulated, hence why Mojo was necessary to create a sitcom world, and provide the necessary technology. This would be a weird direction to take things down, but Marvel Studios might be able to pull it off!

If nothing else, he might be shown tuning in...

3. Spider-Man (Not That Spider-Man)

293829321324r132331334

Despite what Tom Holland says, the signs do appear to be pointing to Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield being part of Spider-Man 3. Plus, with Sam Raimi at the helm of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the prevailing theory is that the Sorcerer Supreme will team up with Maguire's Spidey.

Don't forget, Sony Pictures has agreed to allow Marvel Studios to use Spider-Man in at least one more MCU movie, but who said it had to be the version played by Holland?

So, if the Scarlet Witch is responsible for tearing a hole in the Multiverse, it's feasible we'll get our first look at Maguire's world, and Strange will need to enlist his Spider-Man's help to get this one back to his world. Perhaps this will take too much time, but if nothing else, a glimpse to tease Spider-Man 3 would work!

2. The Beyonder

293829321324r13233133433

If it's not Mephisto pulling the strings, then there's another possibility (and one who could be used to lay the groundwork for Phase 4/Phase 5's new big bad). Just like Thanos was introduced in The Avengers' post-credits scene, The Beyonder could appear in WandaVision's stinger.

Revealing he was responsible for twisting reality and creating those sitcoms, the stage would be set for an even bigger clash down the line...Secret Wars! Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo are keen to make that a reality (no pun intended), and a being as powerful as The Beyonder could explain both the Multiverse madness and the introduction of the X-Men.

A slow-burn approach to this debut would be sensible, but some sort of tease in the WandaVision finale - with an A-Lister playing the villain - would be nothing short of mind-blowing for comic book fans.

1. Magneto

293829321324r1323313343

How cool would this be?

There was a fake leak about Magneto appearing in WandaVision, but the iconic comic book character arriving to claim his daughter (similar to the end of Avengers Disassembled) would be one heckuva twist, teasing a secret origin story for Wanda Maximoff and the arrival of mutants.

If they've been hiding out in the shadows all this time, then it makes perfect sense for Magneto to make his presence felt, taking his mutant daughter back to Krakoa or wherever the mutants call home.

We'd lose our minds if Michael Fassbender plays Erik, and that could tie nicely into whatever is going on with the Multiverse (similar to Evan Peters returning as Quicksilver). Time will tell, but it would be a big mistake not to explore Wanda's history as a mutant and with her father, Magneto.

No disrespect to Evan Peters but I doubt Bettany has been "desperate" to work with the kid from Kick-Ass for years. My hope is Fassbender.

@ShellHead -
Based on what has happened to date I expect each new episode to ratchet things up a notch. Who the big reveal will be is anyone's guess but it's not one of the younger actors and that's for certain. I don't think they will be bringing in any of the FoxMen at this point so Magneto would be a stretch but certainly possible. Evan Peters is a fake out and is likely to be the big bad or one of them. We know this ties directly into Multiverse of Madness so some reveal for that is highly likely as well. Lets not overlook the possibility that it's Daniel Bruhl or Ben Mendelsohn for that matter. There were rumors also of Al Pachino joining the MCU a while back and he may wind up as some cosmic villain of Dr. Strange.

My money is on Pachino.

@ShellHead - what if they updated Magneto'a details to one of the Middle Eastern Wars but keep the same theme. A man who saw his family tortured and killed. This way it fits the timeline better as opposes to him being from WW II? I think Fassbender would still fit greatly with the new aspect.

@ShellHead -
Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Quicksilver is 100% definitely coming back in some form, perhaps to rejoin the MCU completely. But I doubt it would be a 'Skywalker' style return. I think honestly that it is being over-hyped, the MCU simply does not have a character that would generate such a reception.

They could probably drag someone from the Sonyverse or Foxverse, a cameo from Tobey Maguire would send everyone nuts into Doctor Strange 2 & Spider-man 3 speculation for example.

I think the character Bettany is 'desperate' to work with is Benedict Cumberbatch. The two never actually managed to work together in Infinity War as they never shared a scene.

@ShellHead - I was just thinking about this... Dick Van Dyke was a consultant on the first episode. It might not be a cameo, and TBH it doesn't get much bigger than him.

@Waddles - Yeah, I'm a really big fan of Mizuno. Her work with Garland is great, and she was the best part of Maniac imo (alongside Theroux)

I think Quicksilver,Mojo and Magneto are possible.

However I would like to see someone no one has predicted.

I know it wouldn't be *that* mega, but I'd be more inclined to be on Baron Von Strucker returning.

Partly because it seems like a logical way to pay off all of the Hydra references in the series, but also because Von Strucker is Scarlett Witch's "creator" in a sense, so it provides a way to bring things full circle.

His off-screen death in AoU always felt a little off, and so it would be easy enough to say that he faked his death to enter the witness protection programme - making him the missing witness that Agent Woo was looking for at the start of the show.

@528491 - @528491 - I've just assumed that Evan Peters was the character in the witness protection program.

Strucker just doesn't feel like a worthy enough return. His character never really added much imo.

@SmellofDuty - Captain America defeated him too easily.

Baron Strucker is top three Cap villains, after Red Skull and Baron Zemo.

@528491 - Strucker being the one in the program could also what (unconsciously) led Wanda to Westview
MuadDib

It won’t happen, but I wish they’d keep the FoX-Men away, what a convoluted and crappy universe that turned out to be. X1 was great and all, but only due to a lack of quality Marvel films to compare against. It’s bad enough that Sony’s mangled universe is getting worked in. Will we ever get a proper Venom? At this rate it seems more and more unlikely

Mephisto is the most obvious. A cameo is probably what’s going to happen and lead into Strange and the Supernatural characters. They should have their own “big bad”
-High evolutionary (or combine him with Sinister and/or Strucker)
-Ultron is a popular choice but I don’t think so
-Magneto but do mutants exist? I don’t know if we’re ready for him. Also, Javier Bardem is perfect for the role.
-Doom. Unless he saves her, I don’t see it. We’re all aware of the MCU devises/locations that connect the 2.
-Spider Woman is a stepping stone to the High Evo. I can see this as being the biggest surprise considering how popular the other guesses are
-Wonder Man could be the missing person aka Ralph and the vessel to bring back Vision permanently
-Grim Reaper if Simon isn’t the surprise at the end but is Ralph or the MIA
-Strucker twins
-Beast. SWORD engineer about whom Monica was talking

I think Magneto actually wouldn't be a bad way to introduce mutants. And it would make sense he might intervene. They probably won't do it though.

CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 2/11/2021, 11:06 AM
@FleischerSupes - Xavier makes more sense, especially if we're talking about making an appearance at the end of this show. Xavier only makes sense. She's clearly having a mental breakdown. Xavier showing up to help put her mind back together would work more than just about anyone.
TomK725
TomK725 - 2/11/2021, 11:54 AM
@FleischerSupes - I think Magneto makes a whole lot of sense ESPECIALLY if this is QS that's been pulled from another universe even by accident. How hard is it to imagine that she wishes for her father "the kid's Grandfather" to be there and bcuz her parents are dead in this universe....it happens again?? Its almost unavoidable IF that's who QS is
FleischerSupes
FleischerSupes - 2/11/2021, 12:14 PM
@CorndogBurglar - Yeah I thought of that after I posted this. He is the ideal person for helping her mind. Plus a good candidate for introducing Mutants. Bryan Cranston would still be a good Xavier.
FleischerSupes
FleischerSupes - 2/11/2021, 12:24 PM
@TomK725 - The more I think about it Wanda turning the agents' own guns back on them was absolutely a reference to Magneto.
TomK725
TomK725 - 2/11/2021, 12:40 PM
@FleischerSupes - I agree at the very least it was a purposeful Easter egg....and the way she used her hand to do it was way too coincidental
