WANDAVISION Showrunner Jac Schaeffer Hints That Fans Should Stick Around Until After The Finale's End Credits

Three episodes in, and there hasn't been a single post-credits scene for WandaVision. However, showrunner Jac Schaeffer has strongly hinted that fans should stick around after the eventual finale...

The Mandalorian's season two finale blew us all away with a post-credits scene that set the stage for The Book of Boba Fett, and that was a first for the Galaxy Far, Far Away. The Marvel Studios movies have conditioned fans to always wait around until the end of the credits, but the last few weeks of WandaVision have delivered...nothing.

That's not overly surprising, but during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, WandaVision showrunner Jac Schaeffer was asked about the possibility of a stinger of some sort after the finale.

"We looked at the show in a lot of different ways and a lot of different structural ways, but yeah. That's a tricky question and I'm having trouble dodging it," she said, again choosing her words very carefully (Marvel's snipers are always looming). Pushed for answers, Shaeffer did drop a big hint.

"In any Marvel property, you should watch the thing in its entirety, no matter what," the filmmaker teased. "That's what I would say."

It sounds like we're getting something, and that shouldn't come as a huge shock when it's common knowledge that WandaVision will tie into Spider-Man 3 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (not to mention the possible debut of the Young Avengers in Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania).

It's early days, but what would you like to see in WandaVision's post-credits scene?

I was expecting a stinger after the first ep considering it had like 5 mins of credits lol, but that would’ve been a bit much that early. Can’t wait to rewatch when it’s finished like it’s a new MCU flick !

@Ace101 - for sure, I kinda respect it in a way cos it definitely got the vast majority to stay n look at everyone involved in a sneaky but seemingly unintentional way lol.

Im sure it’ll be spliced into one film when it’s over by someone, which I am v eager to watch

So I've always wondered: Why do twins get a vote each when it comes to election time?

Identical twins I mean. Same basic gene-code, right? Doesn't that count as one person? Shouldn't it?

What about clones? Would they get an individual vote? Replicants? Would replicants even be allowed to vote at all? What about designer babies? Gene-edited cows? Regular cows even? Why can't even a regular cow vote?

And what about twincest? Was it wrong for Ultimate Wanda and Ultimate Pietro to get down? Or is it technically masturbation? And did Whedon actually hint at them having the same relationship in the MCU? I think he did. Look carefully at some of those shots in AoU. It's subtle, but it's there. Will this show delve into any of that?

I have a lot of questions.

@Skellfull - There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.

Considering this is supposed to be the set up for future films like the upcoming Dr. Strange, it would be very surprising if there wasn't an after or mid credits scene.

Considering a quarter of each episode has been devoted to credits, watching the show in it's entirety is a big ask. At least I'll know to fast forward after them in the last episode now...

I'm fully expecting a placard saying "Scarlet Witch will return in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" at the end of the finale. Followed by some footage of Wanda doing something incredible in the film.

Plus, perhaps we'll get a placard of Vision potentially appearing in the film as well. I'm expecting after WandaVision finishes, there will be some casting announcements for Doctor Strange 2. Hopefully, we'll get official announcements of actors for Tommy & Billy, if we've don't already get the actual actors in WandaVision.
