WandaVision Theory Video: Who is Tyler Hayward and What Does He Want?

Join me as I walk you through a theory of who Tyler Hayward is, and what part he and S.W.O.R.D. are to play in WandaVision as well as who he made a deal with. Could it be......Mephisto?!?!

Lets first go over his appearance in the episode so we have a frame of reference.  The first words he says to Monica are to the security guard that will not allow her to enter, due to her badge not working as it was no doubt deactivated when she was snapped away five years ago.  He asks the security guard if he knows who she is, which right there I thought was shady and some kind of double meaning to infer that he is not who he seems to be.  Not to mention that as the director he could have fixed before this happened so this is almost like a power play on his part, as he is obviously not comfortable with Monica there.  He confirms that he is the “acting director” of SWORD not the director, and I like a theory by Heavy Spoilers that his title is actually a double entendre, and that he is actually the “director of acting” meaning he is somehow involved in the control of the people in the town and maybe outside it.  He comments that Monica has not aged a day, and she says that he looks “old as hell”, which makes him laugh. The phrasing “old as hell” may also be a clue as to his identity of an ancient ruler of the Hell dimension which he may be in league with, but I probably should have stretched before saying that.  I mean, the guy is obviously shady and the show definitely is trying to put us on the scent of him being nefarious.  It could be a red herring, but at the 4th 30-minute episode in a 9-episode season, you have to think they will be picking things up a bit from here on out.  Introducing the big bad here makes perfect sense to me.
