@BlackestKnight Watch season 1, remember it goes downhill but if you really like season one the rest may be worth your while...Personally, i was so pissed by the end i dont know if i am going to watch. I may watch for reviews, see how its recieved, and then decide. They just fvcked it all up last time after a plain awesome season 1

Love Hiro!! I loved the show. It was amazing when it came out and it was one of the first shows that I made sure to watch every Monday night! My dad and I would randomly whisper "Save the cheerleader. Save the world!"

I agree on being pissed at the series towards the end. It just got so all over the place and story lines got drawn out way past their expiration date. I don't even know what the last few episodes were about. I doubt it can recapture the magic but I'll give it a shot.

All I need now to come back from the original series are;

- Mohinder Suresh
- Peter Petrelli
- Sylar

Bring them all back...And I'll watch all 13 episodes. Actually I probably watch 'em anyway lol. I watched all the seasons.

One of the best characters of the original series. How the [frick] they thought the last 2 seasons were acceptable viewing is beyond me. I might give this a chance now

I'm wondering if people are remembering this show as being so much better than it really was.

As long as Tim Kring is at the helm, it won't be very good, because the guy is incompetent. He's a little like George Lucas - when you leave him to his own devices, he can't help but crash the plane into the ocean.

The first part of the first season did well because he had collaborators like Bryan Fuller...but as soon as they left, he botched the ending terribly and it was all downhill after that.

YES!!!!! I loved this show, even after the writers strike ruined it for most people (I was among the few that still enjoyed seasons 3-4). The main thing, and one of the few things, that I was pissed about (story-wise) this show was when they ruined "The strongest of them all" Peter Patrelli by stripping him of his powers and giving him back a much weaker form of powers. Once he was only able to 'mimic' 1 power at a time they ruined him. He was so badass in the future scenes and never got to realise his potential. They literally built his character up (powers and character development) only to literally strip him of everything. He was THE HERO of heroes. Now, I did not mind Sylar becoming good in the end, but Peter should rival him in power. Sylar should not have been the lone "Super" super powered Hero of the show.

Well, that seals the deal to at least give the show a look, though I don't have high hopes.

Still, if they can keep a compact show like it was for most of the first season, and not go sprawling all over the place, jumping the shark left, right and centre (like they increasingly did with the original series, thus totally ruining what could have been a tv classic), then it's all good.

We shall see.

he was working in hollywood as part of LucasArts and other production companies before he got that role. His actual day job is still in the digital arts.

Hopefully it is more of the quality of the first season and not the final season. Limit the subtitles.
