heroes was a good show,loved series 1,series 2 was poor,series 3 was better than 2 & series 4 i thought was an even better improvement over 2 & 3 but not as good 1.

the problem with the show was sylar was my favorie charactor,the show soon became the sylar show & i think that was its downfall.

anyway its still better than smallville what a pile of shit that is.

i say end smallville,bring back heroes.

Deadpool @ completely agree w/ you. While season one was never topped I believe they were making a steady climb out of the pit that was volume two. Just hard to think that they can cast off characters as good as Hiro and Sylar, I hope they do make it into a miniseries and its so popular they bring it back. This show is definately head and shoulders above Smallville, which has sucked for more seasons that Heroes was on the air. Maybe CW should pick it up, lol.

Season 1 - fakiring loved it! Season 2 - liked it but clearly suffered from the writers strike. Season 3 - better than 2 but not quite as good as 1. Season 4 - not seen it yet! Will get it on DVD and power through like I did the other seasons. It's the best way to watch them!

Heroes sucked balls! As a series it was all over the place, introducing characters and never using them again, there was no continuity about it. I never really gave a hoot about any of the charaters, and i think that was its downfall!

Heroes was a good show for the first season and most of the third. the second season had a couple of good episodes but overall the season sucked. I gotta buy season 4 though...

The series was kind of difficult to follow, I watched the first two seasons but after that I gave up.

i agree season 1 was a fantastic series...then came the downfall from which they never recovered...also i never understood y they used to keep switching sylar's character from good to bad so quickly...

I could be wrong,but if heroes is much a better show,then why is it that Smallville is in its 10th season,& not only getting a proper ending,but if anyone was @ comic con or saw the 1-10 trailer knows how much this season will kick ass.As far as Heroes,I was a fan,then it just got way out of hand,where should I start,they took Peter`s powers away & dummed them down to pathetic,they made Sylar,who was a badass,into a weak watery lame version of why ppl loved to hate him,then just hated him.And seriously CARNIES!what the hell were the writers thinking,& yes I KNOW Smallville has had its ups & downs,but its STILL ON THE AIR,& so much so that ppl /fans want a spin off.Heroes was a good show while it lasted end of story

I really loved Heroes, I hope they do something to officially conclude it because I felt it left us hanging in the end.

man the first season of heroes was the sh*t. i loved it. and then came season 2 which wasnt all that number 3 sucked even worst to be honest. i hated them bringing in that dude that claire hooked up with that could fly. he was pointless same with the other guy she hooked up with who could breathe under water. 4 did ok but still not that great. they honestly didnt know what they were doing with that show. but i would love to see a conclusion since there are 4 seasons and for them just to end it like that because it got cancelled would blow

I THOUGHT THE SHOWS FIRST COUPLE SEASONS WERE AWSOME THEN THE STRIKE HAPPENED, THEY LET LOEB GO...THAT KILLED THE SHOW..REPETITIVE SCENARIOS JUST DESTROYED IT..THEY LOST THAT COMIC BOOK FEEL..FUSTRATING..

I loved this series and I can't wait to see this mini-series if/when it is made.
To everybody that is trashing this and Smallville, I say this:
Both are great in there own ways. I've been a fan of Smallville from the very beginning, but even I will admit that it has gotten stale over the past few years. With the exception of the Justice League and Justice Society episodes, most of the show is just filler. Heroes had the potential of being the BEST show on TV, but after the writers strike it all when down hill. This new mini-series could not only renew interest in the show, but will bring us an ending we all have been waiting to see. If you don't like either, then why the HELL are you here!?

The biggest problem with Heroes was that, in order to truly understand EVERYTHING, you had to read the online (and now published) graphic novels, watch the webisodes and play the role playing game. I drew the line at the game, since it required way more time than it was worth.

I'd be up for a mini-series, but no more after that. They'd have to really blow it open, story-wise, for there to be a resurgence of the show.

@CasualFanatic- I totally agree with you. I loved the show, was really into the online comics, the webisodes were pretty good, but I could not and would not play the online games. Too much memory wasted and too much of a hassle to deal with.

Very excited about this. Loved Heroes. Season One and Three were the best. Two was okay, a little slow but served as a bridge to Three. Season Four, I haven't seen in a while, but now more than ever, I'm anxious to get the DVD. I'm hoping that when this miniseries begins, it wraps Heroes up the way it needs to end. Hoping the original cast returns. So pumped up for this. Best news I've heard all week.

And I agree with Magic Fingers. Don't forget Clark's team up with the Legion, easily the best episode of Season Eight of Smallville. I miss that show, too. It was a bumpy ride and while I was expecting so much more from the series finale, which in my opinion fell apart, as did the final season, which had way too many filler episodes, it concluded in a way that was appropriate for Smallville.

@Elguason: I think the purpose of not giving them costumes was to separate this show from other comic book type shows out there. Smallville, for instance was about Clark Kent before he became Super-man. One of the rules for the show when it started was "No tights and No Flights." I was cool with that at first, but after eight plus seasons of him speeding around, it got annoying. My point is that by having that No tights/flights rule, it separated Smallville from previous incarnations of Superman on the small screen and that's what made it unique. Heroes was/is unique by not giving the characters costumes, because on a "realistic" show like that, where people with abilities are constantly trying to blend in with society, costumes just wouldn't fit, and it's not realistic. If Claire Bennet was trying to hide from agents tracking her down, how much sense would it make for her to throw on some tights and a cape if she's trying to keep a low profile?
