STAR WARS: ANDOR First Trailer Likely To Debut During Star Wars Celebration As Disney+ Panel Is Announced

Lucasfilm has officially announced that a panel at Star Wars Celebration will showcase Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, and The Mandalorian with filmmakers and special guests set to be in attendance. Common sense says footage will be shown, though only time will tell whether any of the teasers are released online.

"Star Wars Celebration returns in May, launching with a must-see showcase that will kick the weekend’s festivities into hyperdrive," reads the announcement"On Thursday, May 26, Lucasfilm’s current crop of live-action filmmakers will be joined by special guests to discuss the many Star Wars adventures coming soon, including Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, and The Mandalorian."

Bespin Bulletin has since reported that Andor is almost certainly getting a trailer at the event, though they're similarly uncertain whether the sneak peek will be released online.

It would be maddening for a bunch of new footage to be shown exclusively at Star Wars Celebration, but that is one of the perks of attending the event. Ideally, we'll get three trailers that day, with those attending this panel treated to a few extra surprises (like clips or even extended previews).

Star Wars Celebration kicks off on May 26 and runs through May 29. A full list of panels has yet to be revealed, but the site notes that they anticipate one being dedicated to the Jedi: Fallen Order sequel.

I'm not particularely excited for this one, but I'd be down for it if it's anything like Rogue One, which might be my favorite Star Wars movie believe it or not.

Is it too late to trash this and make a origin series on Poe Dameron?

@Winston19 - Lmao. That would be way worse.

@Winston19 - he's a nothing character so you could literally make him a schizophrenic and nobody would Bat an eye. I support a schizophrenic Poe show, aka the space sequel to Moon Knight.

@DipperPines - nah not if you give it a Top Gun feel. Follow him through a flight academy and him making his rank to squadron leader. It could visually cool

@McMurdo - lol. I was thinking give it a top gun feel. Him being a cocky hotshot in the flight academy and working his way maturing into a squadron leader.

@Winston19 - hopefully this is what Patty Jenkins does with Rogue Squadron. JJ made Poe too God tier a pilot there was no fear of danger with hi. Patty should show us just how intense piloting an xwing can be

@McMurdo - 100% agree on both points!

This show is such a weird and after the fact choice to be made. I don't know anyone who asked for or cares about this show or character. Seems like a misstep in healing the Star Wars Franchise. Maybe the show is fine, but also who cares about this???

@Imprtracr1 - this has been SW since KK came into power. We have a Jude Law High Republic show that nobody cares about either.

Still intrigued by this. I hope they commit to the spy thriller tone and style. And above all else, can we FINALLY get to see Alderaan? It's wild we've never been to such an important planet. And I need more Jimmy Smits in Space.

I hope we'll get an update on Rogue Squadron (or any of the other movies in the works), but I doubt we'll see Star Wars returning to the big screen anytime soon.

As for the shows, I hope some Andor footage can get me excited. Same with Lando or The Acolyte, since right now I have no idea what to expect of those shows.
