Fans of the sentient alien suit that is the Symbiote will be pleased to hear that plenty of projects are in the works due out this year featuring the alien suit. Dubbed the Summer of Symbiotes, this line will be part of the celebration of Venom's first appearance a weighty 35 years ago.
As revealed during Marvel's Spider-Man and the Venomverse panel at C2E2 in Chicago, the line of projects start with Cult of Carnage: Misery, Extreme Venomverse, and Carnage Reigns. Following that, we'll have Web of Carnage, which reunites Francesco Manna and Ram V.
July's Web of Carnage is a follow-up to the aftermath of Carnage Reigns and its crossover with Spider-Man: Miles Morales. We'll also see Red Goblin #6 forming a new arc for Normie Osborn. Cult of Carnage: Misery follows Liz Allen as she finds herself bonded with her own symbiote while still dealing with the new creature, Madness.
Come June, fans will have Edge of Venomverse Unlimited Infinity Comic to look forward to. All these Venom projects all stop at the big ending project -- Death of the Venomverse. Helmed by Cullen Bunn and Geraldo Sandoval, this weekly comic follows Carnage's new mission to eliminate all other Venoms possible.
The Summer of Symbiotes finale will hit store stands on August 2.
