Ed Boon, creator of Mortal Kombat, and creative director and head of the newly formed "Netherealm Studios", has asked everyone on Twitter who they want most from these 6 characters, as a first DLC character for the game. Here is the tweet from Ed Boons official twitter account, noobde:
noobde: Seriously guys. Tell me your order of preference for a DLC character. Rain, Shinnok, Kenshi, Robo-smoke, or new character?
He later adds:
noobe: Ooops...forgot one. Or Tanya.
Many had wondered if a character from from MK1 to MKT may get left out. After a confirmation from Ed that "99.9% of characters from UMK3 will be in this game", discussions ran rampant on who that 00.1% would be. Some MK Fans narrowed it down between the characters Sheeva and Rain. And now we finally know.
What also was revealled from this tweet is that the character Smoke will be in human form, since in MKT you could play as a human Smoke, and a Cyber-Ninja Smoke.
