Ryan Reynolds On Playing Deadpool In X-FORCE; "I Don't Know What [That] Is"

It appears as if Ryan Reynolds is finally getting sick of being asked about playing Deadpool in his own solo movie, although for those of you hoping he might get the opportunity in Jeff Wadlow's X-Force.

For some reason, no one ever seems to ask Ryan Reynolds about reprising the role of Green Lantern in another solo movie or Justice League (was it really that forgettable?), but he IS plagued by constant questions about a certain Merc With A Mouth. Talking to MTV recently while promoting R.I.P.D., the actor was asked whether Kick-Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow's upcoming take on X-Force will give him the opportunity to finally play Deadpool on the big screen. "If I knew what X-Force was I would. I don't know what X-Force is, but that sounds great." So, either it's too soon for Fox to have reached out to him with an offer or he's playing coy. Either way, as time continues to pass, the chances of seeing Reynolds as the character seem to reduce more and more rapidly.

He DID play Deadpool on the big screen. Albeit some dumbed down distorted & corrupted version of Deadpool but the character nonetheless.

I would say he's faking it. He and Scarlet were huge comic book collectors, remember? He knows what X-Force is but my guess is they told him there were going to be announcements in San Diego. Hell, he's mentioned X-Force before when talking about Deadpool in the past. Not to mention that there have been multiple interviews with him where he talks about how he has collected comic books most of his life.

Ryan Reynolds made a good Deadpool, I liked his comedic moments in Origins.
I would like to see him return.

Give him a break, not many people will have heard of X-Force and Deadpool in Origins wasn't exactly ripped from the comics, so I doubt he needed to read any comicbooks.

The same can be said for GTOG no one outside the comic world know about them, but the Marvel machine has raised awareness of the film the same can be done with X-Force they got to get a cohesive universe going and for heavens sake get on that R Rated deadpool make it real and defiantly get Ryan Renolds the right actor in the right role he'ed be great
