Bleeding Cool reports that Peter Panzerfaust is set to become a fully voiced motion comics from QT Digital and BBC Worldwide, with plans already in place to later adapt it into a live action series. This was revealed by series writer Kurtis J. Wiebe at the "Image Comics Presents" panel at the San Diego Comic-Con (the book was pencilled by Tyler Jenkins). The solicitation for the first issue of the series reads as follows, "The city of Calais is the first city in France to fall to the Germans in the spring of 1940. So...it's like an alternate version of Peter Pan? The above synopsis sounds a bit weird, though, and Peter Pan is one of my favorite tales ever. Can anyone tell more about it?

Peter Pan set in WWII? Sounds interesting. I'm going to have to pick up a few issues.

Like Jolt17, Peter pan is one of my favorite, if not my favorite fairytale ever. I really hope they don't screw the pooch on this one.

Jolt17 It's a really cool take on Peter, you'll hear familiar names drop etc. but it's a very different story in setting etc. But it's very good. It's funny it actually put two of my favorite genres together.

Peter Pan + World War 2 = Fantastic Story.

It's really good.

Is there still that "will never grow up" element? Hook? Wendy? Just curious...if they really adapt the whole story with a World War II background (War!), I'm in.
