While promoting her upcoming comedy
Morning Glory, Rachel McAdams spoke to movieweb.com about the possibility of returning to the role of Irene Adler in the upcoming Sherlock Holmes Sequel which is currently filming in England. According to movieweb.com ,she doesn't know quite yet if she will return for Sherlock Holmes 2. But If she does return, her role will be much smaller. Says McAdams:
"It's kind of all still in the process. They're still doing script work, and we'll see. If I do, it won't be a very big thing. It's not a lead part." Sherlock Holmes 2 comes to theaters December 16th, 2011 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, Stephen Fry, and Jared Harris. The film will be directed by Guy Ritchie.
