TROLLS WORLD TOUR & THE OUTPOST Claim The Top Two Spots On DEG's Watched at Home Top 20 List

As many major theater chains remain closed indefinitely with no major releases on the horizon, DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group introduced the "Watched at Home Top 20" list earlier this year, which tallies up the most popular titles consumed on disc and digital (excluding outside subscription-based streaming platforms).

This week, Universal's Trolls World Tour repeated as the top film, continuing its surprisingly stellar run on home video. Then, Screen Media's critically acclaimed war drama The Outpost, which stars Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Scott Eastwood (The Fate of the Furious), leapfrogged Paramount's Yellowstone to take #2. The three seasons of the Kevin Costner-fronted series finished in three through five.

The rest of the top ten featured some familiar names with Universal's The Invisible Man in sixth, Paramount's Sonic the Hedgehog in seventh, Sony's Jumanji: The Next Level in eighth, Lionsgate's Force of Nature in ninth, and Universal's The Hunt in tenth.

For the week of July 16, here is the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list:

  1. Trolls World Tour (Universal)
  2. The Outpost (Screen Media Films)
  3. Yellowstone: SSN 3 (Paramount)

Watched The Outpost for July 4th, its a pretty powerful and emotional movie that is well done. Eastwood is the MVP of the film, he does a great job, his best role so far imo. Its a must watch film, especially with everything recently that's come to light in America about our soldiers in Afghanistan...

@HeavyMetal4Life - I had never even heard of it. I'll give it a shot. What has come to light recently?

@MyCoolYoung - Russia paid bounties to Taliban members in 2018 and 2019 to kill American soldiers, and some of these bounties seem to have been acted upon and carried out. And the person occupying the White House did nothing to protect our soldiers because it was Russia. He never confronted Putin, instead he kept kissing his ass and tried to get Russia back into the G8. Treasonous, un-American, cowardly, weak, disgusting, shameful. As always, all roads lead to Putin.

@MyCoolYoung - yeah, it was a really huge story here for a while. Some members of the intelligence communities were so unhappy with the President's lack of interest and response to this that they started leaking massive amounts of info to the public regarding the details of these bounties and Trump's handling of it. And Trump has yet to make any public statement condemning Russia and assuring Americans that he won't allow Russian bounties on American soldiers stand. HAS NOT SAID ANYTHING YET. Can you believe that shit? Instead he attacked the journalists that were reporting this info.

Let me know what you think of the movie! Hope you enjoy.

I actually really liked the outpost.
There was definitely some cheese to it and some of the acting was less than stellar but there was so much that they got right about life in the Korengal.
