DC and Warner Bros. have announced that they will be expanding their Super Hero Girls toyline into the animated sphere, starting with a full-length animated movie to be released this August! In addition to featuring a story revolving around the heroines of the DC universe, the home video release will also feature shorts spotlighting Poison Ivy, Bumblebee, Wonder Woman, and more!

DC Super Hero Girls: Hero of the Year will be released digitally on August 9, with a home video version on August 23.
