Internet buzz around the live-action Dragonball movie has been highly critical since it was first announced. So it comes as no surprise that the marketing team would release as much promotional art as they can to change the minds of fanboys.

Unfortunately, they didn't have a panel at San Diego Comic-Con to ease tensions, Jamie Chung was on hand to discuss the movie. IGN recently posted yet another clip of her discussing the movie.

Meanwhile, Fox has decided to give the Japanese a release date one week ahead of the Worldwide date of April 10, 2009. This move could potentially harm the box office results in two ways: firstly, it is almost certain that pirated copies will surface on the web and probably in high resolution. Since most fans are not expecting a lot from this film, they will probably not want to pay for it. Secondly, the Japanese have been most critical of this film throughout the production process, so their reviews of the film will probably give the film a lower score than North American critics. This will also drive more audiences away.

The movie is in post-production at this point, so we should see the team doing interviews and releasing a trailer some time in the coming months. Stay tuned to ComicBookMovie for more updates.
