Emmy Rossum was recently on Attack of the Show where she discussed her role on the new show Shameless with Justin Chatwin (Goku from Dragonball Evolution). And as expected, the Dragonball movie was brought up, and although nothing new was really revealed, it is an interesting watch nonetheless. You can view that video interview below.

I wish she'd be in more recognized movies. Ever since I saw her in The Day After Tomorrow, I was both hooked by her performance and beauty.

why the hell they need to do a US version of Shameless just have the UK version of Shameless instead

@Jazz...because we American apparently can't appreciate a show in its original form....there was supposedly a pilot for an American version of SPACED but never made it

@ComicCritic87 you're right, we should all just read the manga with japanese text instead of english. the way it was meant to be enjoyed... anyway, i think the project was doomed from the beginning because its impossible to adapt a long running shoen manga/cartoon into a two hour movie... apparently the original screenplay was close to the source but was changed to... the awful film we got. maybe one day it'll be done right.

I cant agree with reading or watching manga/anime in Japanese. I love both but I dont know Japanese (ive tried) and when I watch a movie, I want to do exactly that, WATCH not read. They just need to get better voice actors. As far as turning a series into a two hour movie, tehdude is right.

Jazzman - for the same reason there's a US version and a UK version of 'Being Human' - some US producers are to @#$!-ing lazy to come up with their own original ideas! Either that, or they think Americans are to 'stupid' to get foreign sensiblities! BULLSH!T!!!

Felixxx - I THINK they're talking about subtitling instead of the cheesy dubbing one usually gets with these shows...
