Ant-Man and The Wasp is officially set to hit theaters on July 6, but Marvel is holding special double-feature fan screenings the day before, and we have a first look at the poster to promote the event.

The new one-sheet sees Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) in their diminutive superhero guises taking cover behind a coin.

Marvel hasn't released any info on where the double-feature screenings are being held, so be sure to check local listings for more details.

“Scott Lang is grappling with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father. Approached by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym, Lang must once again don the Ant-Man suit and fight alongside the Wasp. The urgent mission soon leads to secret revelations from the past as the dynamic duo finds itself in an epic battle against a powerful new enemy.”

@Nebula - If Chris Evans' arms didn't look so weird, that poster would be one of the best in the MCU

Just saw this movie! It was so good! The story was simple and not some kinda taking over the world kinda stuff. Evangeline killing it as Wasp and Rudd is always amazing. I hope they'll explain what happened to Janet because there's something she did by the end of the movie that will blow your mind. As for Ghost, she was cool and I don't consider her as a villain. I think this movie is not your typical superhero movie where they have a hero and a villain. More like people with agendas. Also the action looks so much better in the screen! I'll give this one 8.7/10.

PS : Mid credit scene was insane

Fandango: ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ Outpacing ‘Doctor Strange’ in Company’s Advance Sales, now on pace to do over 100 million plus :)

LOS ANGELES (July 3, 2018) – Marvel’s “Ant-Man and The Wasp” is currently ruling Fandango’s Fanticipation movie buzz index with a super-strong 96 out of 100 Fanticipation points and leading Fandango’s weekend ticket sales. Opening this Friday, “Ant-Man and The Wasp” is currently outpacing Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” at the same point in the Fandango sales cycle.

In a Fandango survey of 1,000 moviegoers planning to see “Ant-Man and The Wasp”:
99% are planning to stick around for the film’s surprising post-credits sequences;
98% are attracted to the series’ special blend of comedy & adventure;
96% are particularly excited to see the next MCU movie after Avengers: Infinity War;
94% look forward to the film’s different kind of villain;
90% can’t wait to see Marvel’s first female superhero with title billing.

“A record-breaking year for Marvel Studios continues this week with the highly-anticipated sequel, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp,’ which looks to make a big mark at the box office with its tiny characters,” says Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis. “Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer lead an action-comedy that is one of the more kid-friendly Marvel titles, and as such, will make a perfect holiday escape for the entire family.”

Critics Consensus: A lighter, brighter superhero movie powered by the effortless charisma of Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, Ant-Man and The Wasp offers a much-needed MCU palate cleanser.

Man just got back from seeing. Really enjoyed it. Went with my dad who loved the quantum realm stuff and he humour- he enjoyed it overall too. Better than the first Ant-Man to me, simply because Lilly is fantastic as the wasp. The whole dynamic with Rudd is great stuff. Also the “villains” of the film are fun to watch, and sympathetic. Overall really fun, enjoyable movie.

Saw it tonight.

I thought it was only just serviceable. Nothing more. It's probably one of the lower tier Marvel movies somewhere between Doctor Strange and Thor the Dark World.

But to anyone saying it's a fun ride after Infinity War

@IronMandarin - Interesting.

You are the first person that says it's not fun. Literally everyone says that this is really a lot of fun after the doom and gloom of Infinity War.

@kylo0607 - I won't say why specifically out of spoilers. The majority of the film is a fun romp, but there is a moment in it which reactivated my Infinity War PTSD.

HOW do you get a job writing about movies and not know what double feature means?
