ANT-MAN AND THE WASP's Rotten Tomatoes Score Has Been Revealed

Earlier today, the first reviews for Ant-Man and The Wasp hit and with Rotten Tomatoes quickly filling up, we have the sequel's initial score for you here! How does it compare to the first instalment?

Love it or hate it, Rotten Tomatoes has become a huge factor in whether or not moviegoers decide it's worth paying money to see a new movie. Marvel Studios has always fared well on the site and that's reflected in the MCU's box office takings but how is Ant-Man and The Wasp doing as of right now?

Extremely well! At the time of writing, the sequel has a score of 89% on the review aggregator based on a total of 57 reviews (51 are "Fresh" and only 6 are "Rotten"). That gives it an average rating of 7/10, not a bad result by any means. In comparison, Ant-Man ended up being "Certified Fresh" with 82%.

As for the Critics Consensus, it currently reads: "A lighter, brighter superhero movie powered by the effortless charisma of Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly, Ant-Man and The Wasp offers a much-needed MCU palate cleanser." That reflects what the vast majority of reviews said about the Marvel sequel.

Are you excited to see Ant-Man and The Wasp? As always, share your thoughts in the usual place.

@bobevanz - I really want to know what Josh is saying in that gif, who he's talking to in that gif, where I can find that video, and who made the gif in the first place lol

It's from this ridiculously cringe-worthy interview that Wilding got with Marc Webb (somehow) when TASM2 came out. Here's the link, it's actually pretty funny how uncomfortable Webb gets:

@Kman - Yeah, some disgruntled user made that site back in 2015 after he/she was banned for some reason. It's where all the funny Wilding gifs come from.

@ODanil - It doesn't have to be. The first one was really good. I'd go as far to say it's the funniest Marvel movie and is actually more of a straight out comedy film.
