Jonathan Majors appeared to score a "win" in his ongoing case this week when he filed charges of his own against his alleged victim, but a new report has now been published which presents more damning evidence that the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star has a history of abusive and toxic behaviour.

Rolling Stone has spoken with more than 40 people who have had dealings with Majors over the years, during his college days and more recently working with him on film sets, and it is said that many describe him as "being a complicated, unpredictable, and sometimes violent man, who can switch from charming to cold in a flash."

The report also includes statements from over a dozen sources who claim that Majors was physically and emotionally abusive to at least two former girlfriends. "My experience in dealing with him and watching him in relationships with several women [is] really upsetting."

Majors' attorney released the following statement in response.

“Jonathan Majors vehemently denies Rolling Stone’s false allegations that he physically, verbally, or emotionally abused anyone, let alone any of his past romantic partners. These allegations are based entirely on hearsay because neither of the romantic partners referenced were willing to engage with Rolling Stone for the article—demonstrating their outright falsity.”

Majors' legal team has attempted to counter with statements from six former partners who paint a more positive picture of the actor, but Rolling Stone claims that, in contacting these six people, "three say they never gave Majors’ team permission to release such statements." Another said their statement was pre-written and not approved.

Majors has already been dropped from several high-profile projects, but Marvel Studios has yet to take any action or comment on the situation. There are rumors that Kevin Feige and co. are looking into potential Kang replacements, but that's yet to be confirmed.

Will this finally prompt some kind of official statement? We'll be sure to keep you updated.

I dont care about hearsay. Sounds like jealous people trying to jump on the band wagon. Let the man act!

@JonAwesome - 40 people man. Kinda wild to believe one guy over 40 people just cos you like his acting. But you do you

@Cap1 - no the thing is that I don’t care. I don’t care what “many of 40 people” think he’s an asshole. Have you seen the soft skinned Hollywood types?

@JonAwesome - thinking he’s an arsehole (driven-types can be over-the-top) is a FAR leap from confirming that he literally beat her down but the perpetually aggrieved Twitterati commentariat will surely pounce nonetheless

@Cap1 - This is how things get misrepresented. nowhere does it say that it is 1 person vs 40 people. if you read it, it says that Rolling Stone spoke to OVER 40 people and over a dozen are saying bad things....first off, this is WELL under half of the people they spoke with, and the media being the media, they won't say that while a dozen people say negative things, all the others said positive things. But simple math in their own words will let you know that more good was said than bad. on top of that, NONE of the people that were allegedly abused have said that they were abused. this is hearsay from people outside of the relationship. Also, it words these people as people who "have had dealings with Majors"...not Family, not friends...just people he crossed paths with. And then Rolling Stone tries to discredit things by saying six of the three partners that had statements released didn't give permission for the statements to be released. NOT that the statements are untrue, just that they did not want the statements to be public.
Rolling Stone is trying to drag Jonathan Majors through the mud, and their own words show that they are biased. but, some people will just read the surface and believe the accusations, EVEN THOUGH the information (based on the wording) of the accusations clearly show that far more good is being said about this man than bad. Don't fall for media propaganda.
(sorry for the long reply, I spent 20 years in courts and with lawyers and know how things actually work compared to what the media portrays.

I'll wait for the trial lol no spoilers.
Now here's a real take on Indy, deep cut here: he used to work with Cinemassacre, and Hack the Movies, before the other side practically burned all bridges over a simple misunderstanding. Anyways give Newt some love! It's nice to have movie reviews from unbiased schmucks, *looks at site*

Well they can easily replace him with the whole multiverse thing. We saw them do it in NWH with 3 different Peters.

As far as the allegation.. it's again "reportedly". He was physically abusive to one parter and emotionally abusive to two. If some one digs enough they'll always find something. I'm curious to see where this goes, but it doesn't look good.

@UniqNo - its two people, total. One emotional only, one physically intimidating and aggressive (RS made sure to not allege actual physical striking)

I agree that this is a major setback, and does not look good, but there is a BIG difference between eing arrogant and impetuous and actually physically beating a woman

Rolling Stone also made sure to keep that all nebulous
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 6/30/2023, 7:32 AM
@SauronthePower - It's 2 people total that were referenced. And Majors' team reached out to 6 other previous people he had relationships with, and none of them wanted to comment. One even said Majors' team came to them with a pre-written statement.

So it's really 8 people. But 4 of them Re questionable at best because they didn't approve their "positive" statements to be released.

There's just so much here now that it's hard to say what's going on. For example, if I have an ex and she's facing accusations like this, but we had ended our relationship amicably, I would have no problem with giving a positive statement about her.

It does make me wonder why none of these women are willing to defend this guy with a public statement.

And there was that guy that came out and made accusations about an "up and coming actor that is highly abusive and arrogant." And he made that cryptic claim almost a full month before the current issue with his girlfriend. Then when this happened, he came out again and said yes, he was originally talking about Majors.

But at the same time, none of that is really proof of anything. But it definitely seems like there are people that really don't like him for some reason. 40 people painted a pretty shitty description of him. Then you've got the 2 girlfriends referenced that refused to give any information. Then the other 6 who, even if they did sound positive about him, still didn't want their comments to be public.

This is a lot of people with very little good to say about him. It certainly doesn't make him a woman abuser. But it sounds like he could be a real asshole lol.

SauronthePower - 6/30/2023, 8:11 AM
@CorndogBurglar - I do not disagree w any of what you are saying re: his possible demeanor but is that sufficient reason in and of itself to effectively end the man’s career and passion while almost certainly ostracizing him from society if it was all shown to be false accusations??

At some point we have to get to the ACTUAL incidents of March 25 and not some narrative that Jann Wenner and the prosecution are preemptively painting

CorndogBurglar - 6/30/2023, 9:04 AM
@SauronthePower - Absolutely not! It's never been illegal to be a dick. In fact, lots of actors have reputations of being dicks on set lol. Having said that, if he is difficult to work with then studios have every right to not want to cast him. But I haven't seen anything saying he is hard to work with or an asshole on set. Which is also an interesting piece of this.
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 6/30/2023, 9:09 AM
@Matador - From all these corresponding statements about him flipping attitudes at the drop of a hat, it does sound like he's Bipolar to some degree. But I'm no doctor so I would never use that as a fact.

It's such a crazy situation. When you go back to that one guy's original Tweet about an up and coming actor, he pretty much described everything that we're seeing now. And that was before the incident with his current girlfriend even happened. People that have had interactions with him really don't seem to like him.
Matador
Matador - 6/30/2023, 9:22 AM
@CorndogBurglar - Like I said "sounds" but your right I'm no doctor either but I did work with a co-worker that did have bi-polar and dude was toxic. One day the whole team was in agreement the next day did the exact opposite and screwed everyone over; leading him to a downward path lying and making false accusation about everyone.

1. Rolling Stone credibility is extremely low after the Amber Heard / Johnny Depp case, where they doubled down on supporting Heard despite the overwhelming evidence she is a liar.
2. 40 people claiming he has mood swings and a temper is irrelevant.
3. Things are looking good for his only court case.

That said this is the part that really hurts him:
The report also includes statements from over a dozen sources who claim that Majors was physically and emotionally abusive to at least two former girlfriends. "My experience in dealing with him and watching him in relationships with several women [is] really upsetting."

Not taking any sides here, but seems like Majors does have a dark side.

But also: Rolling Stone can go frick themselves after the entire Heard/Depp debacle. They are lying pieces of...

@SauronthePower - Why? Because they are part of the problem. They can’t go after Hollywood because nobody in Hollywood would work with them ever again… UNLESS there is already blood in the water. Then it is open season. Remember that bias shows up more in what is not said than what is said.

@GunnISaClunge - and what do these supposed ‘40 character witnesses’ have to do with the events of the night of March 25?

Was even 1 of them present to offer eyewitness testimony like the cabdriver or the group that posed for selfies w Majors immediately after watching the events unfold literal feet in front of them (guess THEY didn’t feel threatened at all)??

Jann Wenner is an arrogant, traitorous arse, but he is by no means stupid
gonzor
gonzor - 6/30/2023, 6:56 AM
@GunnISaClunge - True. They tried the same with Depp. They tried to bury him and lied their arses off in the process. But HR claims seem to be very substantiated. But absolutely no coincidence they published this the moment Majors seemed like he was winning. They tried the same with Depp, but that one recoiled back at them.
