Check Out Some New Stills From AQUAMAN, BUMBLEBEE, SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, And More

There may only be a couple of months left in 2018 but a lot of great movies are on the way and now a new gallery of hi-res images puts the spotlight on everything from Creed II to Mary Poppins Returns...

It's been a solid year for blockbuster movies but 2018 isn't over yet! We have a number of big releases to look forward to, including comic book adaptations like Aquaman and Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. That's not all, though, as we also have everything from Bumblebee to Fantastic Beasts and the Crimes and Grindelwald to look forward to!

All those movies and more are highlighted in the gallery below along with new intel on all of them from directors and cast members.

A lot of these hi-res shots are wallpaper worthy and it's fair to say that each and every one of these will more than likely be unmissable. However, with so many of them opening on December 21st, the battle at the holiday box office is going to be an interesting one! For now, though, click on the "View List" button below to take a look at these images.

Bumblebee

According to Bumblebee director Travis Knight, the movie will "try to show that rock-'em, sock-'em robots can actually have a heart and soul" and it sounds like he definitely understands the nostalgia factor here. "As a kid, we're natural storytellers with our action figures. Those are beloved playthings and the things that you love deeply become a part of you. And I love these things."

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse looks like the perfect superhero movie to end 2018 with and co-director Bob Persichetti sheds some light on the relationship between Peter Parker and Miles Morales.

"Peter buoys Miles and absolutely vice versa," he says. "Miles’ discovery of his powers and his enthusiasm for being sort of a selfless hero, all of that stuff helps re-inspire Peter to become a better version of what his best self once was as Spider-Man."

Fantastic Beasts And The Crimes Of Grindelwald

"His heart is just bigger than his whole torso," Dan Fogler says of his character, Jacob Kowalski. "This is an epic, gigantic movie and you have lovely little moments of these brothers trying to help each other out. The good guys are being tested, and the bad guys are rising up and trying to level the playing field."

The Grinch

Avengers: Infinity War star Benedict Cumberbatch voices The Grinch in this animated reboot and co-director Scott Mosier promises that "Watching him steal Christmas is just one of the most fun and visually exciting parts of the movie."

Aquaman

According to Patrick Wilson, Aquaman is "really easygoing and the life of the party and dead set on not being a leader at the beginning." Ocean Master, on the other hand, has a slightly different outlook. "I just want to act as a foil to that: Somebody who probably takes themselves a little too seriously and has a very large shell around them and rules with an iron fist."

Mary Poppins Returns

This Disney musical isn't going to be for everyone but it's easy enough to imagine it flying straight to the top of the box office charts this holiday season. "The Banks kids have grown up and think they made up their adventures with Poppins," star Lin-Manuel Miranda says of the plot.

"They've convinced themselves those were just fantasies we had as children. But Jack's never forgotten. He's well aware of the magic she brings when she arrives."

Ralph Breaks The Internet

"Ralph loves her so much. He's so grateful to have a friend after all those years of being an outcast that he's kind of holding on a little too tight," John C. Reilly reveals when asked about Sarah Silverman's Vanellope in the animated follow-up.

"The challenge for him is how to become a real friend: What does a real friend do when their friend wants to grow? And in classic Wreck-It Ralph fashion, he makes some colossal blunders along the way, almost destroying the world, literally, by stupid ideas."

Creed II

One of this year's most highly anticipated sequels, a new director may be at the helm but the signs are pointing to this still being a must-see. "The stakes are much higher within the fight and even outside of the ring," Steven Caple Jr.

Whereas young Drago is a heavyweight brawler, "Creed is all about technique and speed, everything that Rocky taught him."

Other than the Grinch, Bumblebee, and Mary Poppins I’m looking forward to all of these. Hopefully Bumblebee will be good with a director other than Michael Bay and if that’s the case I’ll gladly watch that too

My priority at the cinema this Christmas will be Aquaman. After that, it will be Spider-man. The rest will just have to wait till whenever.

I think all of these will do well in theaters. The only one that I'll probably wait on is The Grinch.

After 3 iterations, I don't see why one voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch will be anymore special than the others.
