Following Avengers: Endgame's box office earnings has been one hell of a ride, and this past week, the film ended its theatrical run in its second biggest territory outside of North America. However, while the movie's journey in China is now over, one thing we do know is that Endgame's performance in the Middle Kingdom will be remembered for a very long time.
Avengers: Endgame's performance in China has been incredible, and it's broken nearly every record for a film made outside of the country. When it concluded its run there last week, the Marvel Studios epic had officially earned $614 million in total. This is the highest ever haul for an import, and the third highest ever for the country.
Avengers: Endgame sits behind only 2019's The Wandering Earth and 2017's Wolf Warrior 2.
But even through all this success, it remains to be seen if the film will earn more than Avatar worldwide...
