AVENGERS: ENDGAME EW Covers Spotlight The Six Original Members Of Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Entertainment Weekly has finally unveiled its series of Avengers: Endgame covers, and rather than feature every single character from the Marvel epic, they focus on the original six members of the team...

EW has released its series of Avengers: Endgame covers, and they focus on the original team of heroes that came together to save the world from Thanos' forces in Joss Whedon's 2012 film.

Although they will have some pretty strong backup, these characters will once again form the backbone of the group that will attempt to defeat The Mad Titan himself in the final installment of Marvel's "Infinity Saga."

In addition, EW has shared a sit-down interview with Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo in which they reflect on their time playing these iconic characters. They don't really share any new Endgame details (which is hardly surprising), but it's still well worth a read.

Check out the covers below along with some of the previously released character posters, and let us know what you think. Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.

Robert Downey Jr. As Iron Man

Chris Evans As Captain America

Scarlett Johnasson As Black Widow

OT: "Joe & Anthony Russo are disturbing MGM’s burial ground as they’ve been given carte blanche to make films from anything in the studio’s library, Deadline is reporting. Of the massive library, it’s already been decided that the duo will be tackling another remake of Poltergeist, which would be co-developed, co-produced and co-financed by the filmmakers behind some of Marvel’s best films"

FYI I don’t see why this is exciting news. Thomas Crown Affair has been remade. As has Poltergeist.

I’d like to see the Russos tackle some original projects like ‘Cherry’ with Tom Holland.

@regularmovieguy - You Me and Dupree was their last original project. Do we really need to see something like that again 😆. Ok but seriously I am interested to see how the Russo bros have changed since then when it comes to original properties.

Hahaha I actually saw that in theaters when it came out... I was still on my Wedding Crashers high with Owen Wilson.

But, yeah. It would be interesting to see what they do with stories that haven’t been told yet.

I wonder if CM will really be in Avenger after Endgame. If she claims she’s been helping other planets that don’t have the Avengers help, why would she stop doing that after Endgame is over?

Here’s my Avengers 5 roster.

Scarlet Witch
War Machine
Falcon
Bucky
Ant Man/Giant Man
Wasp

Everyone else will either be dead, retired or part timers. Like, I can’t see BP being full time because he’s got a country to rule. Dr Strange has a sanctum to protect. Spidey has a city to watch over. And CM has the whole galaxy to explore.

@KWilly -

Dude. The heroes with the new franchises and especially ones with billion dollar franchises are most definitely gonna be in the new Avengers roster.

You really think they are gonna leave out Black Panther and Captain Marvel when we get a whole new sling of Avengers movies? Aldo Doctor Strange more than likely be on the team too.

@KWilly - I think Dr. Strange and Spider-Man are sure bets for the next "Avengers" roster.
DellRusk

@KWilly -

If anything the more realistic roster will be something like:

Black Panther
Captain Marvel
Doctor Strange
Ant-Man
Wasp
Scarlet Witch (maybe)

If Bucky becomes new Captain America I think they'll save Falcon for those
solo movies if they do them. But maybe in second movie of new string of Avengers movies the roster will add Cap (Bucky) and Falcon back to the team

@DellRusk -

Maybe throw War Machine if he survives Endgame as the guy who brings the new team together like Fury. Since he is an actual member. It would be better if a member assembles the new team. Unless they have Black Widow lead the team like in the 90s and she does it for the first movie.

@L0RDbuckethead - spiderman is not owned by marvel so he won't be first roster avengers... he will always be backup until that license runs out.
