AVENGERS: ENDGAME Less Than $60 Million Away From Dethroning AVATAR At The Global Box Office

Ever since Avengers: Endgame came into theaters, fans were positive that it would be the highest grossing film of all time. In order to do that however, it would need to defeat James Cameron's Avatar; which is cemented at $2.788 billion now.

For Endgame, it's currently at $2.730 billion, so it's only $60 million short of taking the crown away from Avatar. The finish line is literally a hop, skip and jump away for the superhero showdown. However, even if it doesn't make it, there's still a lot to be proud of for Avengers: Endgame.

For instance, it's already beaten Avatar in the domestic box office at $824 million. Also, Endgame is the highest grossing weekend opener of all time, reaching $1.223 billion in just that short amount of time.

Regardless of whether Endgame takes over Avatar or not, there's a lot to be said on how successful it's already been. It's been an absolute triumph for Marvel and Disney this year, and for years to come.

Do you believe Endgame has enough juice left to beat Avatar for the all time spot? Leave your thoughts down below.
