AVENGERS: ENDGAME Thursday Night Preview Screenings Have Already Set A Marvel Studios Record

@shinwar - I was there, very first showing. This thread is not marked "Spoilers so I 'am not gonna be a DOUCHEBAG and spoil it for ANYONE who has not seen the film. However, I will say one thing and one thing only. I was FLOORED. 10/10 also. BEST COMIC BOOK MOVIE EVER, and dammit, probably one of the BEST films EVER. I put it right up there with Ben Hur, Spartacus, and The Ten Commandments.

@HeavyMetal4Life - Buddy, the audience was SOLD OUT. And at times, the audience was SILENT. Except for the jackoff bastards that brought LITTLE KIDS into this movie!!!! And the ignorant BITCH across the aisle who kept TEXTING through the entire movie!!! And, the audience also CLAPPED, and there were people SOBBING. I do not think I am spoiling a single thing by saying that. EVERYONE KNEW that Endgame was going to be an emotional experience. I do not think ANYONE was TRULY prepared for it. But that damn bitch, I wanted to snatch the damn phone out of her hands and SMASH it.

It's just so refreshing to see a movie (let alone a Marvel movie) with 2 hours worth of never before seen footage.

@HeavyMetal4Life - I went tonight at 6pm. got out at around 9:15. I walked around the grocery store on the way home like a ZOMBIE. And, it was cool, because the guy sitting next to me in the sold out reserved seat theater was VERY into comic book movies. I had to run to the bathroom after the damned inevitable stream of credits, making sure I had enough bladder capacity to make it through the entire film. And, dammit, I got back as the Marvel Studios was rolling. And I sat down, and the due tipped me to what happened already. In my theater, someone had gone through, and at least on our row, they had put tissues in the cup-holders! And we did chat for a mo' before the movie, and I told him, "Dude, this is gonna be HARD." And it was great, because a LOT of the people in the audience were catching ALL the Easter Eggs!

And I gotta be honest. Thursday night. I got there for the first showing at 6pm, and the parking lot was pretty damned full, had never seen it filled like this when I got there. Then, the film ended, and I went to my car. I was AMAZED. It was like ten freaking MILLION cars in the parking lot, spilling over into the mall parking slots. Un-freaking believable.

And, I have my ticket for tomorrow at 12:30pm also. However, I may not be emotionally ready for it again. "For me, the grief is far to recent."

There isn't a post credit scene. Though you'll catch some Easter Eggs if you watch the credits.

@WakandaTech - Just curious; is there a link between these 3 movies, or just favorites of yours? I'm not a big LOTR fan, and am just wondering.
