Some lucky fans were among the first to see thirty minutes of the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War last night in London. In addition to the screening, a number of cast members were also in attendance, walking the red carpet and participating in a Q&A session about their characters.

Sebastian Stan
The question of which Avengers will perish has been the primary inquiry on most fans minds, and with Chris Evans recently confirming that he will exit the MCU after the fourth
Avengers film, his fate seemed all but certain to many. However, according to Sebastian Stan (who plays Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier), fans shouldn't be so quick to assume.
"[Captain America] certainly didn’t die when I was there. If he did I haven’t seen it," Stan said cryptically during the event. Could Steve Rogers survive his encounter with Thanos? We'll have to wait and see.
Loki Meets Loki
Loki's big moment in the film's trailer shows him handing the Tesseract over to Thanos (which he was seen stealing at the conclusion of Thor: Ragnarok). The God of Mischief has owed Thanos a debt since he failed to claim the Tesseract and lost the Mind Stone in the process, leading many to believe the character will be executed upon handing it over.
Tom Hiddleston joked around about Loki's predicament during last night's Q&A.
"And I think Loki, in my head, he’s forgotten his cards at home and he doesn’t have any cash and he’s bought the Avengers this pizza and now it’s like ‘What have you got?’ And he’s like, ‘Here, have the Tesseract.’ That’s what I think.” The character has seemingly been confirmed to appear in
Avengers 4 via some sort of flashback or time travel, but Infinity War could be the end of the line!
Elizabeth Olsen
Elizabeth Olsen stunned on the red carpet in a beautiful dark green dress. The actress recently expressed interest in a film centering around her character, the Scarlet Witch, which you can read more about

Paul Bettany
Things don't look too optimistic for the Vision, considering Thanos needs that ever-so-precious Infinity Stone that is housed in his head. However, that didn't stop Paul Bettany from being his cheery self on the red carpet. You can also see more of Bettany in the latest trailer for

Tom Holland
In addition to sporting a brand new suit in
Infinity War, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) will continue to develop his mentor/student relationship with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) over the course of the film.
“Of course it’ll develop," Holland said.
"The bond they’ve formed is pretty strong and Tony has a great deal of responsibility for Peter and his actions. I think Peter may grate on Tony a bit more in this movie, which is fun, but our relationship definitely blossoms some more.”
Genius Meets Genius
Ever since the release of
Black Panther, many fans have been yearning for the two teen geniuses of the MCU to meet, and while Peter Parker and Shuri probably won't cross paths in
Infinity War, Tom Holland and Letitia Wright had the chance to hang out during yesterday's Q&A session.
Evolution
A sequel for 2016's
Doctor Strange is still up in the air, but it hasn't stopped the sorcerer from helping out when needed. The good doctor assisted Thor during the events of
Thor: Ragnarok, and will be seen teaming up with Tony Stark and Bruce Banner alongside Wong when the Ebony Maw comes to collect the Time Stone.
Speaking at the fan event's Q&A, Benedict Cumberbatch detailed how the character has shirked his more selfish tendencies from his debut film.
“The evolution of him in this movie is interesting. We met a very somber person by the end of Doctor Strange," Cumberbatch said.
"He’s clued into the idea that being really heroic is sacrificing your own needs and selfishness for something a little more selfless and doing good for others. And that’s a lonely path to take. And when you see him at the end, when he looks at the watch and you see him look out the window in a profile of the hero to come, that’s the person we meet a little bit in Thor: Ragnarok and very much so in [Infinity War]. He’s certainly not as egotistical and narcissistic as he was in [Doctor Strange].”
It's Complicated
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo were also present in London, and spoke about the difficulties that accompanied making a film of this magnitude.
"Certainly, this is one of the most complicated movies ever made in many ways," said Anthony Russo.
"I think all of us appreciate what a special and unique opportunity this was. No one has ever seen a film like this. No one has ever seen this number of loved characters in a single film with this caliber of cast. And that's really what drove all of us. I think everybody brought their best collaborative energy to the project. Everybody sacrificed hard for the project. It's not only important to us, but it's important to the audiences and everybody rose to the cause."
