AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Concept Art Spotlights Alternate Designs For Thor, Red Skull, Thanos & More
Some more scans from Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War - The Art of the Movie have found their way online, and this time we get a look at alternate character designs for Thor and The Mad Titan. Check it out.
We recently got a look at alternate designs for the Iron Spider armor, Captain America and The Winter Soldier, and now some more scans from the Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War - The Art of the Movie hardcover book have been shared online via AKASpidey on Twitter.
The images feature more unused character designs, this time for the likes of Thor, Thanos and The Red Skull.

Thor
As you can see, a couple of pretty radical new looks were considered for The God of Thunder at one point.
These designs switch back between long/short hair and bearded/clean shaven, and in a couple of the last ones Thor is sporting a futuristic looking outfit that's very similar to the concept art we saw for Avengers 4 recently.
Iron Man
Here we see the various layers of Tony Stark's regenerating nanotech armor.
There are a few sleeker variations on the suit, and it also looks like they considered going back to the circular chest plate.
Bucky
Some more early concept art for The Winter Soldier.
It looks like Bucky was originally going to be rocking much moire clean-cut appearance in Avengers: Infinity War before they ultimately decided to let him keep the beard and flowing locks. One of the outfits is also much more militaristic.
Thanos
It looks like they always had a pretty clear idea of how they wanted The Mad Titan to look, though there are a couple of different variations on his costume here.
The color scheme of his armor alternates between gold and solar, and some of the outfits are a bit more regal-looking than others.
Red Skull
The Red Skull was reintroduced in Infinity War looking more like one of the Nazgul from Lord of the Rings than the villain we first met in Captain America: TFA, but it looks like they might have been toying with the idea of an immediate reveal of "The Stonekeeper's" identity if some of these designs are any indication.
Captain America
Another batch of alternate looks for Steve Rogers here.
None of these designs are a million miles away from Cap's final costume for the film, though some definitely appear to be more Nomad-inspired than others. As we've seen already, they also thought about giving him a lick of a razor.
