Hasbro's 2019 Marvel Legends Action Figures Include Classic Comic Characters And Some MCU Favorites

This year's Toy Fair is currently taking place in New York City and those of you who collect Marvel Legends action figures are going to be very excited indeed about this latest batch of reveals.

It appears as if Hasbro is covering all its bases this year, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe (with characters like Hela, Captain America, Iron Spider, and Luis) and some old favourites from the comic books (Colossus, Wolverine, and classic Thor are among some of my favourites).

No firm release dates have been set as of yet but it's thought that most will hit stores in the second half of the year.

Marvel Legends have been around for a long time now and it's amazing that Hasbro still finds more characters to put in action figure form for us fans. Man i didn't know Marvel Legends was still going on. They were always the best figures on the market.

That cyclops with the optic blast is x-cellent.

@TheManWithoutFear - I have a really hard time calling Marvel Legends the best figures on the market.

I can never bring myself to buy any of them because all of the insanely noticeable joints are really annoying. Particularly the joints where the top of their legs meet their pelvis/crotch area. It just looks so bad.

The only ones that look really great to me are the ones like Silver Samurai, where that joint is covered up.

@CorndogBurglar - Well i mean i haven't bought them since i was a kid. And those joints just mean that they have a lot of articulation points and that made them way cooler to play with than the competition. So as i kid, they looked cool and were great to play with.

I guess if you're an adult buying them and looks are the only reason for purchase then maybe i can see where you're coming from.

Most look really good but these are marketing figures which are usually pristine. Bet the figures in the shops are awful.

That Nightcrawler and Cyclops seem like a call back to the old Toy Biz figures from the early 90’s

@Stinkor1 - The blue suit is when Cyclops and the other 4 original X-Men quit either right before or when Prof. X brought on the Uncanny X-Men aka Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Banshee and Thunderbird. They formed the original X-Factor and this was Cyclops' costume.

@pesmerga44 - Nerd Alert! X-factor was formed when Cyclops finally left the X-Men, a while after Wolverine and the others joined. Storm and Cyclops competed for leadership and Storm won.
