Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay. “Avengers: Infinity War” releases in U.S. theaters on April 27, 2018.

@L0RDbuckethead - ....it's...it's just GOTTA be. I wouldn't doubt it if Wanda somehow were involved too with her powers of probability.....which, to be honest, I don't know if they've really shown that aspect of her powers yet. It seems to me they're making her more of a telekinetic.

But there's gotta be a price to pay, I think. If the time continuum is effed with, that's a permenant thing and I'm betting their "defeating" him is going to have to come with some tough choices.

@BlindWedjat -
Given how it is spoken, it feels more like a plot twist;

Trailer line; "I could snap my fingers and you'd all cease to exist?"

Would be taken out of context;

Potential movie line; "Did you really think i could snap my fingers and you'd all cease to exist?"

With both Gamora and now Thanos mentioning the finger snap, it seems all but inevitable at this point ... and makes it no less exciting 😆😆😆👌🏽

@ParanoidAndroid - I'm guess the Gamora snap dialogue was filmed just for marketing.

The Russos were insane on this film. Fake scripts. Fake scenes shot. Subterfuge.

I'm guessing because of the cost of CG that the Thanos line is real, although who knows, that might not be in the movie either. It's crazy!

@PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - with a decade invested into this event it makes sense for them to go above and beyond in terms of marketing and maintaining secrecy... At this point it’s not a matter if the movie will exceed expectations but by how much 😆

So it has been rated. I thought they wouldn't show the entire film to MPAA until after the premiere.
