The Art Of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Cover Features Thanos' Epic Battle With Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Originally set to be released earlier this year, the "Art of" book for Avengers: Infinity War hits stores later this month and the stunning cover features concept art by Marvel Studios' Ryan Meinerding.

The Art of Avengers: Infinity War was supposed to be released shortly after the movie hit theaters but it was delayed until this months for reasons which have never been made clear. Regardless, with less than two weeks to go until it reaches stores, the cover artwork has been revealed and it's nothing short of incredible!

As you can see, Marvel Studios concept artist Ryan Meinerding has crafted a beautiful piece depicting the Mad Titan Thanos going to war with Iron Man, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Mantis, and Nebula (who is front and centre and ready to do battle with her "father").

What's going to be interesting is seeing if this book offers any clues about what's to come in Avengers 4, especially as some unused designs could end up being carried over into the sequel (Thanos' armour, for example).

We'll just have to wait and see but we'll do our best to bring you highlights from the book the second it goes on sale. Who knows, the trailer for Avengers 4 could very well be online by that point! For now, let us know your thoughts on this cover in the comments section below.

I'm not usually one to get a boner over these things but yesterday all the subtle religious subtext done with Thanos just hit me.
