Why a Hawkeye one-shot should have appeared with the Winter Soldier Blu-ray

Captain America: Winter Soldier is coming out soon and many will have noticed the missing Marvel One-shot. I believe Hawkeye would have been a great one-shot

WARNING contains spoilers for issues 4 and 5 of the current Hawkeye run and captain america: winter soldier movie

1. The Storyline 

Matt Fraction and Javier Pulido's the tape arc hit the mark as a well written and drawn arc based around Clint trying to retrieve an incriminating tape for SHIELD, which results in him travelling the world to try to retrieve the tape. This could work well as this would explain his absense from Captain America: Winter Soldier.
SPOILERS part of the story is the tape was fabricated to find who the mole was within SHIELD. This could be used in the one-shot for finding out a high level hydra agent. END OF SPOILERS



2. Links to the Universe


This arc includes appearances from the likes of Kingpin, Madame Hydra, the Maggia, the crimson cowl and madame masque who bid for the incriminating tape. This could be an easy way to have a small appearance from Kingpin and madame hydra and could include previously seen villains like Justin Hammer, AIM (in the beehive costume preferably) and Hydra. SHIELD also plays a role in the events of this arc mainly at the start and at the end. This could show the importance of SHIELD worldwide and it could have small appearances from Hill or other SHIELD members.

3. The Characters


As said in the previous paragraph Maria Hill could appear aswell as other big characters in the movies. The one-shot could also be the first appearance of Kate Bishop, who could bring in some comedy aspects as well as an odd couple feel to it. It would also shine a better light on Clint Barton himself and show us what he is like outside the world of heroics and his daily life.
