Last night, we got a first look at Brendan Fraser suited up as Firefly on the set of Batgirl, and while this latest photo isn't quite as exciting, it may shed some light on the "new" DCEU.
Following the events of The Flash, reality will be rewritten and Michael Keaton's Batman will be this world's new Dark Knight. He's set to swoop into the HBO Max movie (potentially as a mentor to Barbara Gordon), and previous set photos have confirmed that Lex Luthor is still around, albeit in Belle Reve - the home of Amanda Waller's Task Force X - rather than Arkham Asylum.
So, big changes are coming, and a van belonging to Stagg Enterprises may contradict the events of Wonder Woman 1984. The company's founder, Simon Stagg, appeared in that movie and was played by Oliver Cotton. However, he seemingly ended up behind bars and his company was left in tatters after Maxwell Lord used the Dreamstone to put his rival out of business.
While this is just an Easter Egg, the company's name has even been changed and is now more in line with the comic books as Stagg Enterprises rather than Stagg Industries/STAGG. We're not sure if Warner Bros. has plans for the company and its CEO moving forward, but it's likely just a minor change in a DCEU that promises to look vastly different thanks to the Fastest Man Alive.
Batgirl is expected to arrive on HBO Max this December.
