VIDEO REVIEW - Batman: The Killing Joke - The SuperHeroFan Show

2016's adaptation of the classic Alan Moore graphic novel has been controversial to say the least... But does it deserve the hatred it gets? Or is there enough here to enjoy?

I'd really appreciate you checking out my video on the matter! I'm planning on making a series of reviews all about various superhero media (movies, TV shows, games, etc.), so feel free to make suggestions for content.

To clarify somethings I said in the video: I don't think this movie is very good as an adaptation of the graphic novel. However, I think it works pretty well as a standalone film. I tried my best to analyze what the filmmakers were doing, so that's what's in the video. My interpretation of the film is very different to my interpretation of the comic book, so perhaps I'll clear up my thoughts on the comic one day. For now, I'll say this: I don't think the movie deserves all the hate it gets.

Thanks so much for taking the time to hear what I had to say! I'd love to hear your own thoughts on the piece in the comments below.
