Awhile ago I signed up for the IBelieveinHarveyDent.com email newsletter (using my Spam address of course). Over the past few weeks I have received varying emails consisting of the normal press junket you would expect from someone running for District Attorney.
However just now I’ve received an email alerting me to a press conference, held live on the IBelieveinHarveyDent.com website, at 3pm, Eastern Daylight Time, in the US.
From the email; “Everyone who knows Harvey Dent knows that the vicious smears by a mysterious group calling itself "Concerned Citizens for a Better Gotham" are not true. Harvey Dent is innocent of these charges, and the truth will triumph.
"Harvey Dent believes that the movement to take back Gotham is bigger than one person. It’s never been about Harvey Dent. It’s about our hopes for our city. It’s about you.”
We’ll just have to wait and see what happens. There will be an update after I leave the press conference.
*UPDATE*
Moments ago, a hostage situation was negotiated to a safe resolution by Harvey Dent.
I'm serious... I tuned in to the "press conference" on time, to hear a street scene where policemen, joined by Harvey Dent, were surrounding a building where a man had taken a woman hostage.
It was all very exciting, and though my sound dropped out for a few moments, Harvey Dent had gone in to negotiate the release, and had brought the hostage taker out with him.
I'll stay tuned to the broadcast to see if anything else happens!
