The World's Finest reports that, in a last-minute schedule change, the Toonami programming block on Adult Swim will be airing the final seven episodes of Beware The Batman this Saturday, September 27th, 2014 starting at 2:30am (ET/PT) and running until 6:00am (ET/PT). According to representatives from Toonami, the programmers behind the block were informed early Monday that Beware the Batman is being financially written off by Cartoon Network as of the end of the month. So, the programmers behind the fan-friendly Toonami programming block have decided to air all the remaining episodes before the show is no longer available for network broadcast.

Representatives are calling this event “one last Bat-blowout” for fans of the acclaimed, under-rated CG animated series. The show will not be part of the Toonami programming block starting October 4th, 2014 going forward.

Check out The World's Finest for loglines and details on the final seven episodes of the under-appreciated and poorly treated Beware The Batman animated series.

The final thirteen episodes of the series will also hit DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Warner Archive.

Great show. To anyone complaining about it, I highly recommend giving it a few episodes before completely shutting it down. It definitely gives some of the characters a new spin, but the core elements are still intact. It's up there with Batman: The Animated Series in my opinion, especially toward the mid season finale.

Never really gave the show a chance, might check it out if it ends up on Netflix. But why don't they air it at a time when people aren't sleeping? lol

I did give this show a chance and I've gotta admit, it was better than I initially thought. But how is this show not dead yet? I mean, the entire first season is online already.

It's weird that they say toy sells are what doom these shows when I haven't heard anything toy related about there more successful shows.Either way it not important Cartoon Network just freed up more time for other great shows on other networks.

I'd rather they gave us a 2nd season of this, than "Gotham"....

I watched the first 10 or so. It wasn't great, but it deserved better than to be shit on by the network like this.

Pretty much every comic-cartoon on TV now is simple kiddie-fare that's unwatchable for an adult. This may be a golden era of CBMs, but animation is dry, repetitive, and boring.

That is disappointing. The show was good. The two biggest disappointments were the CGI style which inflated the show and the toy guns they used in the show. Other then that the show was interesting. Hopefully for the next show WB and CN make is 2D this way the budget is cheaper and it gives it a better chance of having another season.

I know it will not happen, but I'd like to see the next show be Justice League Dark, Shadow Pact or Doom Patrol.

This is the 2nd best Batman TV show ever IMO (the first is obviously TAS). Highly under-rated.
