Or even Batman, he wouldn't want to kill Superman either. These fights are so stupid. And so is Dark Knight Returns. That book was horrible. I'm honestly sold on everything in the DCCU BUT the influence of DKR. That book's influence could destroy this whole thing for me.

I'm confused, where in the DKReturns did Batman intend to kill Superman and Superman intended to kill Batman??

Was it not Superman's vulnerability towards humans that Batman used to his advantage?? Of course Superman encountered a nuclear bomb/missiles before Batman knew he even had a "fighting" chance, which included his whole bag (utility belt) of tricks(gadgets). Plus, an assist from crazy, ole man Oliver. Was Batman's plan to fake his own death and not to kill Superman??
