After The Amazing Spider-Man 2 failed to do the business Sony must have expected, it's become clear that they're not really sure how to continue. A third movie is still on the cards, but before that there are plans for several spinoffs, including Venom, Sinister Six, and a female-led flick that will focus on a supporting character from the Spider-Man comics. Well, Badass Digest claim to have some new info regarding a couple of these movies. First, they reckon the Sinister Six film might actually be a soft reboot, which would see Spidey team up with the villains for a "Dirty Dozen style story". Then, instead of just one female character taking the reigns, they mention a "team-up movie that would bring the female Spidey characters together."
The current title is said to be "Glass Ceiling", but that'll likely change if the project gets off the ground -- and that is not definitely going to happen. According to the site this is just one idea that's being talked about at the studio. If it were to materialize though, which characters could it focus on? There really aren't that many to choose from: The obvious ones are Black Cat, Spider-Woman and Silver Sable. Then maybe the likes of Silk, Firestar...Spider-Gwen?
