BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER Rumored To Introduce Ironheart; WEREWOLF BY NIGHT Coming To Disney+?

We have two big rumours to share with you today, as it's claimed that Riri Williams will make her MCU debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, while a Werewolf by Night series could be heading to Disney+.

Until Marvel Studios announces its future plans, there continues to be a lot of rumours doing the rounds about where the Marvel Cinematic Universe is heading following the events of Avengers: Endgame.

With that in mind, we have two big rumours to share with you today!

Last month, there were reports that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was set to film in and around the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. At the time, there was speculation that could lead to a cameo appearance from Riri Williams, a character who will don her own Iron Man suit in Disney+'s Ironheart (her comic book counterpart attends MIT).

Now, The GWW's KC Walsh has taken to Twitter to claim, "a source I trust has seemingly confirmed [the] speculation and indicated that Riri Williams is set to pop up in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever." This would make sense, and if true, we could see Riri's story play out across this sequel, her solo series, and Armor Wars

Talking of Disney's streaming service, The Cosmic Circus has just run a story which claims that a Werewolf by Night series is on the way and is currently being developed with the working title, "Buzz Cut" (the production company, meanwhile, is named "Natural History Productions LLC"). Apparently, shooting begins next February, which is a surprise when we've heard no casting news.

Of course, with past rumours pointing to Werewolf by Night appearing in Moon Knight, it's feasible the character has been cast in secret. He's an odd choice of lead for his own show, though.

It's added that Echo should begin shooting at the end of January, while work begins on Ironheart in April.

@marvel72 - well, D+ and Marvel overall target younger demographics so more modern characters (specifically teen/YA characters) make more sense than, I don't know, an ass-old obscure 70s character. in fact, I bet we will see the Sam Alexander version of Nova before (or instead even) Richard Rider.

I can see Shuri go to MIT where she befriends Riri, or maybe something related to Killmonger, but I see no other reason for the sequel to go to MIT or to bring in Riri.

As for Werewolf by Night, that would be the second character getting a solo series after having shown up in another after Echo. Marvel must be very confident, since we haven't met either character or has even been teased in the slightest.

Anyway, combined with the Ghost Rider rumour, and Doctor Strange, Blade and Moon Knight coming up, I feel Midnight Sons really is in the works.

I'm interested, werewolves are cool so Marvel shouldn't have issues with making something good with it. though I know nothing about Werewolf By Night specifically.

As for Werewolf By Night, bring Jack Russell you introduce him in Moon Knight, then his own show which could introduce more horror based characters.

Man-Thing
Dracula
Zombie
Howard The Duck

@marvel72 - Yes please. I did an impulse buy of the Man Thing Omnibus and those first few stories are much better than I remembered them to be. Doing Man-Thing the right way is hard to do. I'am also looking for Brother VooDoo and another favorite from that era Son of Satan.

The "this character is terrible in the comics" talking point has gotta be some of the dumbest discourse I've seen on this site, and that's putting aside the often bigoted undertones of that topic

CIVIL WAR is one of the worst written Marvel events in the publisher's history, with pretty much every character involved betraying their core characteristics with almost zero justification or follow up every other issue. It is one of the most well written and thorough Marvel movies in existence, and cracks most people's top 10 MCU films, if not CBMs

This is putting aside the fact that throughout most major character's histories there have been looooooong patches of awful writing and stupid plot points.
