CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Concept Art Pits Ant-Man And The Wasp Against...Hawkeye?!

We've known for a while now that Marvel chose to change the teams around in Captain America: Civil War during pre-production and Ant-Man was at one time going to align himself with Iron Man.

Whether that was altered for story reasons (it really made no sense for Scott Lang to work with Tony Stark after everything Hank Pym told him) or because Spider-Man was added at a later stage is hard to say but just as she was supposed to be introduced in The Avengers, it turns out that The Wasp was once scheduled to make her debut in Captain America: Civil War too!

That's not actually a secret as it's been common knowledge for a while but concept artist Andy Park has now shared a very cool piece of the hero in action alongside Ant-Man as they take the right to Hawkeye. This definitely would have been fun to see and could have increased interest in Ant-Man and The Wasp.

I think its clear they thought first and foremost about having balanced teams first then thought why they went on those sides. It still makes zero sense for black widow to support the registration considering what she went through is winter soldier and spidermans inclusion actually went against Tony's whole argument of heroes being responsible.
