Captain America looks like he is going to be playing a much larger role in Avengers Endgame. He appears more promently in the teaser trailer and the Russo's have said he has more screen time in Endgame than in Infinity War. Unfortunately he won't be rocking that sweet, sweet beard but even if Endgame wasn't an Avengers movie he is Captain America, he was always going to be an important part of n aspect of the MCU and his journey started right here in Captain America: The First Avenger.
I personally feel this is a somewhat underrated Marvel cinematic Universe entry. Featuring a great lead performace, solid action, one of the better love stories and an impressive, screen chewing villain, The First Avenger sets a lot of things in motion and leads us straight into the MCU's first massive movie The Avengers.
