In 1942, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is deemed physically unfit to enlist in the U.S. Army and fight the Nazis in World War II. Volunteering instead for Project: Rebirth, a secret military operation, he is physically transformed into a super-soldier dubbed Captain America. With sidekick Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), he fights the Red Skull (Hugo Weaving), Hitler's treacherous head of advanced weaponry, whose own plan for world domination involves a seemingly magical object known as the Tesseract.

Wish I didn't see that.

Wanted to see the "discovery" on the big screen first.

This will be the best movie of the year.

Wow. I agree with reclusemaverick. But might I add, that was friggin' awesome! The "discovery" is going to be epic. Everything I've seen and heard about this film has been very positive.

By far the coolest footage for this movie I've seen.

Either this is going to be the shortest movie or the longest. Cap's origin, Cap core story and action, Cap frozen, Cap with Nick Fury downtown?

Maybe the Ice discovery is the end of the movie and the Nick Fury scene is the after credit. I thought it was an actual scene. Oh well, another MARVEL movie. Gotta see it.

To be honest I was pretty pissed when I saw this come on when I was watching the tube.

It basically ruins the end and the beginning of the film.

If that is the bomber (which im pretty sure it is) then that basically is telling us that Cap's "last" noble act was to bring down the bomber into the ocean to stop the Skull.

...Maybe Red Skull is frozen in there as well...

I dont recall Captain America being frozen inside of any aircraft. No, in fact, I'm fairly certain that's not how it happens. How does the old saying go?? If it isn't broke......

Jakeroo you nerd. You don't recall it cause you haven't even seen the movie yet.

wow, jakeroo, the movie is different from the comic? weird. i wasn't even planning on watching any of the movies coming up because i figured it was going to be exactly to the book, like page for page, dialogue even. you pointing out that this movie might have some content that differs from the last seventy years of stories and perhaps condenses ideas, alters plot points, and revives the character in a modern day setting to coincide with the current marvel movie universe really allows me to sigh a sigh of relief. for a second i thought it was all a waste of money. thanks, buddy.
