Will Captain America Be Bald in Future Films?

Probably not, but Chris Evans is getting somewhat worried. In a recent interview, the actor portraying the star-spangled avenger explains his recent balding along with his workout routine.

In a recent interview with MTV at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, Chris Evans, who plays the titular character in this summer's Captain America: The First Avenger has admitted that he has possibly begun to show signs of old age.

On explaining the fear or hair loss:
"I have no problem saying this, but I'm losing my hair...The fear is this [role] can span 10 years so I can be doing this character until I'm 40," he explained. "I'm supposed to be like this superior human. He can't be balding...How horrible would it be if this superior man has male pattern baldness?"

On whether or not he is worried about staying in good shape:
"That I can control," he smiled. He hits the gym almost every day. "It's a lot more than I'd like it to be, but you know, if I miss three or four days, I feel like s—t," he said.

On why he prefers not to run as part of his exercise:
Running is not part of his workout. "Last year, I got into running and I was like, 'I'm going to start running and then I would run on the treadmill and feel great," he said. "But I'll get too thin. I lose weight so quickly."

Balding sucks, but I'm sure hollywood has all sorts of wizardry and magic they can use to stop that genetic FAIL. Heh, or they can just go the hair transplant route, lmao.

I wouldn't mind seeing him with a wig. Wouldn't bother me. Blonde maybe?

I started balding at 18. I'll be all out of hair in a year and a half when I'm 26, I'm sure. Ain't bad, though.

Lol sometimes it seem as that's the end of the world, when you go bold. Most of my friends started to loose their hair in high school, not that really s*cks.

@topcat - don't worry you get the boldness gene from your mom. That's why your dad & grand can be bold, but you may keep hair to late...............

Not alot of stuff affects us guys, but the one thing that kicks our asses is balding. Some guys can rock the bald look and others just look weird. I've got good wavy hair and my line is receding and I'm nowhere near my 30's. Genetics SUCK!

Going bald is not a big deal really. I started to lose mine about 8 years ago when I was 28. I have an almost completely bald spot in the back, receding hair line in the front, and it's starting to thin on top. Just keep it short as hell, no biggie. Besides, bald men are more virile, at least that's what my wife tells me :)

If Evans does go bald in the future they could do an Earth X film.

It's called Bosley! When me and my boyfriend get old I'm definitely gonna tell him to get that done. I'm not a fan of bald man - but that's just me.

Really not a big deal, lots of actors wear wigs for roles bruce willis, sean connery, hell even chris hemsworth did for thor and he's not even balding.

Mine started to go at 16, and I've been rocking the Lex Luthor ever since. I'm 24 now and it doesn't even register, but back then it suuuucked.

I'm sure Evans has enough money to fix this problem cosmetically, or even organically if he chose.

It's no big deal. He could get a buzz cut eventually if he needs to and that would retain the sort of military feel.
