Can DCCU work without some of its major characters?

With DCCU assembling at a slow pace,would it even be slower if Batman or Superman was with another studio?

Marvel Cinematic Universe is pretty much the envy of all major studios in hollywood due to the success of Avengers movies and GOTG.This is all dispite having most of their main characters owned by other studios like X-men & Fantastic Four at FOX,joint custody of Spiderman with Sony just happened recently.DCCU started with Man of Steel which divided comic book fans and it will be followed by a much anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in March 25, 2016.Warner Bros has all the keys to the DCCU but lets take away only BATMAN.

Batman is extremely an important part of building the DCCU and he can carry his own movies as demonstrated in the Dark Knight triology.His influence in the DC universe is felt becouse of the big gallarey of characters it contains.Two of the upcoming DC movies have strong Batman influences like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice nothing to say here,Suicide Squad coming out in August 5,2015 has The Joker,Deadshot,Harley Quinn,Deadshot who are all Batman villains and he is also rumoured to appear and Arrow Tv show has plenty of Batman villains.So if Batman rights were at another studio how do you see the DCCU working out.

Can DCCU without some of its characters?

I don't care much four grammer mistakes. Hell I'd make them some of the time butt at least make the title make cents.

I suck at punctuation, spelling, and grammar , I never got a good hold on it when I was in school, but this is just mind boggling bad. Also the article seems unfinished and it needs to be put in editorials.

If WB didn't have the rights to Batman, I could see Martian Manhunter being the one to bring the team together. I also could have seen Blue Beetle being used instead of Batman. Maybe even Mr. Terrific. In a way even OMAC could have been WBs answer to Batman. Thankfully we will never have to find out.

I don't mind grammer misstakes just that the title should be good and grabs people's attentions you know? After all, out of everything in your article, the title is what makes people click on your article the most.

Seems like this is the first two paragraphs of a bigger article. Show me the rest and I just might be satisfied. Also...

If DC didn't have Batman they would be screwed, imo

DrKin - No way! They still have heavy hitters like Supes, Green Lantern, The Flash and Wonder Woman! Sure they might not sell as much as Batman, but no way would DC be screwed without Batman.

Right now DC fan's have to hope that Comcast doesn't manage to purchase Time Warner. Because that could lead to yet another reboot of the DC Characters on film. You would basically be seeing Warner Brothers, CW Network, & whats left of New Line coming under the banner of a company that owns Universal Studios & NBC. This is one of those situations where you could see Warner Brothers & Universal merged together. When things like that happens usually many projects are put on hold or rebooted.

@Kong thanks for the suggestions
@RextheKing the link really helped
@DeusExSponge look at the heavy hitters you have named,they all have something in common like flight,speed which makes them alone boring.what makes Marvel likable is the diversity they have Iron Man,hulk,Thor,hawkeye all have something different thats why DC needs Batman cause he brings some thing different to the team.

febday - I'm sorry but I don't buy that. Diversity? Sure Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman can fly, but that's such a small detail and doesn't take away how different they are from each other. Thor and Iron Man can fly, but does that make the group you mention less diverse does it? Even if their powers are nearly identical, which in this case it's not, it's all about how you develop these characters and present them to the readers. Seriously, look at Batman and the Batman Inc! How are his pupils and allies any different from him with the exception of their gadgets? What makes them unique from each other is their characteristics and personality!

Also, you seriously can't believe that the group I mentioned is boring and not different from each other. Green Lantern's ring alone makes him unique from the others! They all might be fast, but speed is Flash's specialty and thanks to the speed force it allows him to do so much more with his speed.

@ CBPuff:

WTF?? Comcast wouldn't be buying Time Warner as a whole, they would only be buying Time Warner Cable, which is merely a division of TW.
