This week's Batman #33 from Tom King and Joëlle Jones picks up shortly after Selina Kyle has accepted Bruce Wayne's marriage proposal and takes us to the Middle East as Batman and Catwoman take a horseback ride through the desert. Both heroes are decked out in modified costumes but as you've no doubt already realised, the Caped Crusader is wearing his Knightmare suit from the DC Films Universe!
That was first introduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice during a sequence set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where Superman had seemingly aligned himself with Darkseid and his army.
Despite how confusing that and the Flash's message which followed were to viewers, it was still a cool sequence which led to Batman's Knightmare costume adorning a variety of action figures and merchandise. Whether or not it will return on the big screen remains to be seen but it's interesting to see it added to the DC Comics Universe and the Dark Knight once again wielding a gun (albeit briefly).
