There's a murderous Batman on the loose in Gotham City, but it thankfully doesn't appear to be Bruce Wayne! Instead, someone is watching the Dark Knight and seemingly trying to set him up, but who? It remains to be seen whether or not the person pulling the strings and the guy in the cowl are new or already established characters, but it seems like quite a mystery will be playing out in this series...

Just making sure but is this the Jean Paul Valley Azrael or Michael Lane Azrael?

Pretty sure it's the Jean Paul Valley Azrael but just double checking since I always preferred Lane Azrael.

I know he isn't killing in the comics, I would hope the writers would have SOME respect for the character. Unlike Snyder.

The only thing Snyder respects is visual adaptation. He doesn't understand the characters beyond very muddled interpretations and the visual aspects.

I can't wait for Scott Snyder's All Star Batman. His first arc sounds so [frick]ing lit.

He's stated that Batman had to leave Gotham to get Two-Face and on his way back to Gotham with Two-Face, all types of assassins who were hired by Two-Face come after Batman who is handcuffed with Two-Face.

Basically Arkham Origins but with Two-Face set in Mad Max Fury Road.

@LEVITIKUZ - it really is going to be a great series. Scott snyder writes batman really well and the artist talent he has lined up is incredible.

"Is this guy, impersonating Batman, a killer?" -- Sure, maybe.

"Is Rebirth Batman a killer?" -- Based on this preview? No.

"Is this click-bait bullshit?" -- Absolutely.
