not sure about the mask on Batwing but I dig rest of the costume. and I think Barbara Gordon returning as Batgirl is probably the biggest news to come out of this whole bat relaunch.

Creating more questions? Um, so? Thats sort of the point, so people will go be curious and read/buy the new comics so they wont be so confused anymore. I cant speak for the stories but everything in the comic book world and in movies is so upside down and spread out that this may actually work. We had our time, now the new generation needs to have theirs. I know My old man and people his age were losing their mind and pissed when I told them Batman had a biological son and he was the New Robin or that Terry McGinus is also his son and the Batman of the future. Just wait for the stupid thing to come out. Alot of these changes may be good but it's just like people on this site to drop the hammer and instantly say something is gonna fail. On a more relevant note, the idea of a black Batman is awsome but one, DC has a ton of black heroes they should be bringing to the front of the line instead of trying to force new ones. Two, he looks like a rip off of Marvels Falcon. The costume is koo, mask sucks but is too close to Falcon. But I guess if they went closer to Batman then he'd be a rip off of Black Panther. Oh Well, I'm still rootin for him.

Can't wait to see the word "Token" thrown out there again and the racism starting up, always does on this site of intelligent people.

@NextHero08 Batman Beyond is an alternate universe and does not have anything to do with anything the fact that Terry McGinus is his son matters a much as what went on in Gotham by Gaslight.

@Dmon- The point I was trying to make with that was we all have our beloved stories and versions of superheros. My folks generation know and love the classic Batman & Robin team with Barbara as Batgirl. Ours got Jason and Tim as Robin and watever other changes we got. Now the next must have their stories and costumes, ect.

I just re-read The Killing Joke, now that it seemingly never happened and I'm okay with it being erased already. An animated movie version of it would be quite nice, though. Although they would probably cut out the panel where we see Barbara's naked rack.
All the same, I think having Babs be Batgirl again is a step in the right direction, if they want to streamline the Batman myth (which really does need streamlining, probably more than any other major DC hero).
It's interesting what @Hush said about Dick Grayson. I think it would be the ballsyest move ever if they erased the whole Dick Grayson/Robin era. Like I've said, on this site, before; the only comics version of the Dick Grayson/Robin era that doesn't just detail the origins or the early days is the Golden Age Earth 2 and Silver Age Earth 1 comics, from the '40s to the '70s. They are all outdated and reprehensibly silly, with the exception of the '70s comics in which Dick is used sparingly.
It would be so cool if Jason Todd was the first Robin, in this new continuity. And I really wouldn't mind if they erased Tim Drake from continuity, either, even though I do love that character dearly. Is he really Red Robin? Have we seen this yet?

So Batwing is a mix between Iron Man, Black Panther, and Batman? WTF? Could be interesting I guess.
