August and September are shaping up to be great months for Avengers fans. The prehistoric Avengers will make their debut next month when Marvel Legacy #1 hits comic book stores and this month's Marvel Collector Corps subscribers will get an Avengers themed Funko box! Although the POP!s included in the box focus on older versions of the characters, they don't quite date back to 1,000,000 BC. The "First Appearance Avengers" themed box includes two Silver Aage POP!s, a t-shirt and the badge and pin that we've become accustomed to.

The t-shirt pays homage to the Incredible Hulk's first appearance in 1962's The Incredible Hulk #1 with a POP!ified version of the comic book cover. The POP!s are great throwbacks to the Silver Age of comics with Iron Man and The Vision. The Vision POP! is defnitely the star of the show and you'll want to grab one if you can get your hands on it. The fact that there wasn't a comic included in this month's box is a bit of a let down, but the fact that you get two full-sized POP!s goes a long way towards making up for it.

wasn't Vision white in his first appearance?

@ODanil - Nope. Green, yellow and red. He looked yellow-ish/white on the cover due to the lighting.

@ODanil - I did like that design, though... Happened after he had to be rebuilt and Wonder Man wouldn't put his brain patterns into the repaired Vision. Hence the all white, emotionless Vision of the West Coast Avengers in the 80s.
