DC has their trinity. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Each bearing a symbol that personifies. Superman is hope, Batman is Justice and Wonder Woman is truth. However, what about Marvel?

Who are the big 3 heroes that define the marvel universe. With Siege coming up it more or less shows who they are. They were major players in a bunch of the events, Civil War and Secret War. THOR, Iron Man,and Captain America. However, since DC and Marvel are different companies, their hero persona's are vastly different. For Marvel the trinity is Thor- Otherworldly, Iron Man- Technology, and Captain America- humanity. And well that's all i got for you now...Just an interesting thought that came into my head recently.lol...til my next article. Does anyone else think the persona's are correct or should they be different, let me know?

Interresting. Based on what you said, I actually feel that a broader version of what they stand for would be more appropriate...such as Thor representing Spirituality, Iron Man representing Materialism, and Captain America representing the "spiritual" ideals of a materialistic world. Just my interpretation.

Thor is the mystical and can be an arrogant strongman.
Iron Man is the rich techie and sometimes alchoholic.
Captain America is the awesome old fashioned butt kicking man out of his time.
i hope i didn't favor Cap too much.
these three i think personify an expectation that we all aspire to be.
We all wish to be strong like Thor. Rich and smart like Tony. And (as much as some would hate to admit it) moral like Cap.
now, we all know it is not possible to be as strong as, or as smart as, or as AWESOME as any of these guys. we all live by a different standard from these three.
and i would have it no other way.

I like the combo of CONTRAST and WADEY:

Thor - Spirituality
Iron Man - Intellectuality
Captain America - Morality

Captain America - Humanity
Iron Man - Intellect
Thor - Religion
Cap seems to represent what a human can accomplish(even though he did get injected), Iron Man is a more god-like being, and Thor obviously is a god.
