It's been a little while since we heard anything on DC's April 2015 project, dubbed "The DC Comics Band-Aid" by Bleeding Cool. Well, they have now reported that writer Scott Lobdell (New 52's Teen Titans, Red Hood and the Outlaws and Superman: Doomed) will work on a weekly book that will tie-in with the twenty two-part stories DC will publish. The event - initially dubbed Crisis 2015 here on CBM - is "believed to feature many different versions of familiar characters, from Elseworlds, before various continuity fixes, including the New 52, squaring off against each other." Though Lobdell's recent DC work has been criticised, he has worked on acclaimed stories such as Generation X and Age of Apocalypse. Bleeding Cool expects that the "Band-Aid" will be "ripped off at San Diego Comic-Con." Until then, stay tuned.

Lobdell is trying to do his best, but frankly and sadly might I add he is part of the problem.

I would like to see the different Elseworld stories become canon. I also would like to see somehow many characters from the old52 become apart of the New52. There is some many great characters that don't exist anymore or have been completely changed. That it would be great if DC could make the universe not 52 universes anymore. Then they could make alternate realities. Like you could still have 52 if they so wanted. Just that these 52 are in a different dimension. So instead of just having Earth-One you would have Earth-1 too.

Just make it like in Back to the Future you got to see the old and new timeline. So this way you can continue on from the old timeline like it wasn't destroyed. It would probably be looked at from DC as more of an Elseworlds story. Plus doesn't exist anymore. But it doesn't change the fact that I would like to see what is going on in the old 52 universe.

Loved that old superboy/superman annual.

This has tons of potential,I hope they do it well, and something's "stick" after it's over.

Else worlds
Hypertime
Infinite Earths

They need a ongoing of this, and not that game based infinite crisis, where everyone looks like monsters.

Scott Lobdell is the worst part of the new 52, everything he has written has been so bad it's almost unfixable without a crisis like event. Pretty bummed to hear he will be a part of this.

Ugh. Lodbell is so shit. In the Pre-52 DC Comics we had to put up with Judd [frick]ing Winick, now this [frick]ing hack.

He's gotta be sucking someone's cock. That's the only explanation I have, because this man is so bad his work is actually offensive.

DC need way more than a band-aid to fix their problems. More like surgery. Maybe some organ transplants. And aggressive physical therapy.

There were a lot of GREAT things in the new 52.

But man, DC editors are like... well, they're poo.

They're poop heads.

Yeah.

The term "Band-aid" in this case is a misnomer since DC's closer to Marvel in market share than they had been prior to the reboot

I love the new 52 so I hope they don't change it.

Hey Superboy is my favorite character, and you know what Lobdell did to him,so yes I'm a lil worried about anytime I read his name for new projects.

Actually I think DC believes Scott's name sales from all the hate and controversy surrounding all the time, which I hope ismt true, but ugh and ugh.

I loved that 'Generations' elseworlds tale. My fingers are crossed for something awesome and a bit different than just in-continuity cross over stuff.
