There's more good news for fans going to the second Kapow! Comic Convention this weekend, as legendary Star Wars producer Rick McCallum has joined the Momentum Showcase panel to present footage from Red Tails and hopefully answer questions from fans (fingers crossed for an update on the live action Star Wars TV series). British writer and director Gareth Evans will also be there to discuss The Raid.

In addition to comic-book panels with Marvel, DC, Image and Millarworld, other events taking place include An Audience with Nick Frost, Noel Clarke Q&A with exclusive footage from Storage 24, the creative team behind Batman: Arkham City from Rocksteady Studios, two of Britain’s biggest comedians as Jimmy Carr interviews Frankie Boyle live about his love of geek culture, much loved TV personality and comic-book writer Jonathan Ross talking America’s Got Powers, a panel with directors Nacho Vigalondo and Gareth Edwards and new footage from The Amazing Spider-Man and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

Tickets for KAPOW! 2012 are only available in advance and there will be no ticket sales on the door – please visit www.kapowcomicconvention.com to book now.

Yes, [frick] Rick McCallum.

George's "yes" man. Equally responsible for the suckage that was the Star Wars prequels.
