Kapow! Comic Con Unveils 2012 Guest List; Includes Joe Quesada And Terry Dodson

Bringing back many of the biggest names in comic books who headlined at last year's event, Kapow! Comic Con has unveiled an updated guest list for this year which includes the likes of Mark Millar, Charlie Adlard, Warren Ellis and many more.

While an official announcement has not yet been released by the Kapow! Comic Con organisers, their website has been updated with an impressive list of comic book writer and artists who will be in attendance in London on the 19th and 20th of May later this year. Headlining the event will be former Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief and current Chief Creative Officer, Joe Quesada. While the likes of Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch will also once again be there to meet with fans, they're bringing with them not only plenty of other guests who you may have missed in 2011, but also such names as Warren Ellis (Secret Avengers), Terry Dodson (The Defenders) and Charlie Adlard (The Walking Dead to name but a few.

Also set to appear are Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, Olivier Coipel, Frank Quitely, Dave Gibbons, Paul Cornell, C.B. Cebulski, Nick Spencer, Eric Stephenson, Kieron Gillen, Peter Milligan, Sean Phillips, Ian Churchill, Andy Diggle, Jock, Steve Parkhouse, Mike Carey, Glenn Fabry, Paul Grist, David Lloyd, Rob Williams, Steve Yeowell, Doug Braithwaite, Rian Hughes, Matt Smith, Shaky Kane, John McCrea, David Hine, Adi Granov, Simon Furman, Chris Weston, James Hodgkins, Peter Hogan and Simon Spurrier.

As you can tell, it promises to be one hell of a weekend! I'm certain that we'll get something for The Amazing Spider-Man and maybe The Dark Knight Rises. Last year there was Thor and Green Lantern footage and it would be a massive letdown if there wasn't anything good for this year.

Going to this. Last year i got millar to sign nemisis 1 and superior 1. The staff are twats though. it was coming to end of sunday and frank quitely was still at his signing table so i strolled over and they were trying to tell me that there was no tim for a signing he just pushed them aside and signed my batman and robin 1.

Lol frank quitely. And that's a pretty awesome story. I'll get him to sign my copy of Ultimates Vol 1, he's following me on Twitter so I may be able to get a pic or something lol. I'll try and look out for some of you guys, I'll be the small kid wearing either a blue hoodie with the '89 Bat Logo on or a black shirt saying "Keep Calm and Call Batman" xD :)
