Thanks to Bleeding Cool, we have the following image of Marvel Studios' Iron Man 3 display at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. As you can see, the studio has brought along the entire "Hall of Armors" which was heavily featured in the first official set photo from Shane Black's film. Whether there will be anything else Marvel movie related on display remains to be seen, but here's hoping it will include Tony Stark's "Extremis" armor.

Following in the footsteps of the record-breaking Marvel Studios’ release "Marvel’s The Avengers," production on the highly anticipated film "Iron Man 3," directed by Shane Black, has commenced production in Wilmington, North Carolina. The production schedule will also include locations in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina, Miami, Florida and China. Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1963, "Iron Man 3" returns Robert Downey Jr. ("Iron Man," "Marvel’s The Avengers") as the iconic Super Hero character Tony Stark/Iron Man along with Gwyneth Paltrow ("Iron Man," "Iron Man 2,") as Pepper Potts, Don Cheadle ("Iron Man 2") as James "Rhodey" Rhodes and Jon Favreau ("Iron Man," "Iron Man 2") as Happy Hogan. Set for release in the U.S. on May 3, 2013, Marvel’s "Iron Man 3" marks the second feature to be fully owned, marketed and distributed by Disney, which acquired Marvel in 2009.

STARRING:

I don't want to sound like a hater, but I never understood why the Mark I armor is in the hall. In the first movie it was destroyed and recovered by that 10 Rings gang and the Mark II Armor was converted into War Machine.

Other than that, this is pretty bad ass!

Tony is the sentimental type, so he repairs or remakes damaged or missing armors. All the armors have suffered some kind of damage or destroyed parts.

@alkohal - if there is one thing Stark isn't its sentimental. He even mentions this to Potts in IM1.

He obviously patches stuff up but all the armour has been accounted for except for the MkII which should be in the hands of Rhodes as War Machine.

Maybe we'll get an explanation in IM3?

Rumour is that Stark took back the War Machine armour and stripped it down. Someone else must've made the 'Patriot' armour. Or maybe Stark did who knows?
